Anyone trying to watch their spending. I spent last night working through Jan and Feb. Are you saving for something? Just trying to cut back? Or just being aware of your spending?

I’m going to work on reducing my spend for March.
I need to use up food in our pantry and freezer, so I’m going to try to buy bare minimum at the store.
I also need to kick the Amazon habit and stop ordering things I don’t really need.

I've got super into saving lol. I also went to mostly cash because of all of the uncertainty in the world =/ I do cash envelopes and it's really made a huge difference in how I spend. I'm saving specifically for a house (whether bought or built) and to be able to give the kids experiences =) Got sick of saying "I don't have the money to do that". This month I've been working on putting as much as I can into our emergency fund and starting our month ahead fund

I should be.
Both of our incomes went up last year by a decent amount but somehow our savings went down.
besides the dog - i dont know where it went. damn inflation.

I got a tiny raise (really just a pay adjustment) this month. It sounds good, but then when you compare the % raise to % inflation it’s depressing AF.
I’m still adding our daily expenses to my spreadsheet and trying to be mindful of where we need to cut back based on what the monthly totals are. But with childcare + food + swim lessons.. blah. And our cars are getting pretty old. MH’s car doesn’t have much longer.
