What are you planning? Is it a second Christmas? Non-existent in your house? Themed? Candy explosion? Filled with fluffy baby animals? 🐇🐤

We're doing a beach theme this year since we're going on a big beach trip in the summer. Sandals, surf/towel ponchos, personalized seashell collection bags, and some candy (Reese's eggs + haribo berries). Maybe sunscreen? LOL The girls don't need swim suits or sun glasses, so those are likely not being bought. beach towels are also out (the ponchos are towel-like). I can't really think of anything else... milano you guys are beach dwellers these days... Anything small but fun that fits the theme?

Ours is usually spring/summer things. This year kids are getting some sandals, reusable water balloons, freezie holders, and lots and lots of chocolate lol. Might get them some little toys too. I'll have to think if they need anything for our 2 week trip in June

New bike helmets, owl pellets for dissecting, a packable hammock swing, magnifying glasses, field guides for local amphibians and reptiles. Plus the usual sidewalk chalk, bubbles and candy, of course.

We usually spring/summer themed stuff.
This year, we head to Disney the morning after Easter!! so they’re getting some random things mixed in: swim cover ups, swim goggles, sandals, 2 new books each, original slinky’s, sticker by number books, a Minnie Mouse polka dot short/T-shirt set with Minnie ears.

They don't need to be expensive, just sturdy plastic. We have just about every beach toy imaginable and the only thing that my kids really use (aka fight over) are the "good" shovels. This surfer toy is also really popular with my kids and was our go-to birthday gift for local kids last year. I'm not sure how much use you would get out of it while not at the beach but it is a lot of fun to play with while you are there.

I generally do spring-y, outside stuff in their basket every year. Challk, a new bathing suit, bubbles, sunglasses, etc. This year they are good on all of those things so I'm still thinking of what to get them. I did pick up easter candy already, so that is done. I might get them each a set of binoculars, they had some really cheap plastic ones that they loved but broke almost instantly. We leave for vacation the day after easter so probably will stick a few things in there they can play with on the plane/in the car.

We don’t really *do* Easter in a meaningful way, but I usually set out an Easter basket for them each.
In addition to chocolate + candy, I’ll probably do: sunglasses, rain boots, a swimsuit for DS1, and some type of art + craft stuff.
I need to think of something else for DS2 to since he has all of DS1’s old swimsuits and doesn’t need one.

I'm going to go with outdoor toys this year. New kickballs, bubbles, swim suits. I'll fill eggs with some candy and Annie's bunnies.

I usually do stuff they need for spring/summer. DS1 will get new rain boots. DD getting sandals. They both get some candy/snacks. Probably going to get new sidewalk chalk and silly putty. The baby will get some board books and new pjs along with snacks.

Just candy here, maybe a small toy that fits in a 6”x6” basket.
I got some candy today, just some of those Lindt shaped chicks and bugs because they’re cute and sometimes they run out at my local supermarket.
I usually do jellybeans but no one really likes jellybeans. Ideas for a non-chocolate alternative?

We do lots of chocolate (I have big chocolate bunnies and some smaller eggs for their baskets, and we'll do a hunt for those cheap foil-wrapped chocolate eggs). I'll also get bubbles and a few other small things like stickers. L has been asking for those bingo dobber things so I'll probably get a couple for him, and maybe a board book for C?
