Cher sounds like an accidental occurrence. Glad C is ok and I hope the trainer can help the pup with her issues.

Saw The Big Sick. It was ok. I had some obvious issues with the hospital scenes. Wasn't ready for all that. We saw it at the ipic because our coworker had given us each a gift card. I prefer the Drafthouse. The food is better and I really don't need to watch a movie in a recliner with a pillow and blanket. Plus, who knows how often they wash those things!

Happy Sunday. We spent the evening at my SIL's house. DH was being a pill but it worked out okay because we ordered take-out instead of taking 8 adults and 3 kids out to eat. We brought the bounce house, so Col and his cousin played it that a ton while Chase showed off his newfound walking skills. Both boys were so tired, dirty, and stinky so hopefully everyone will sleep well.

I agree @klongoria. I've been there twice and I'm not into it at all. I will only go to the draft house or arbor.

I'm exhausted. We've been busy this weekend. And now a distant cousin may/May not be moving in. Because that's what we need..

I just know general overview of movie and definitely a no go for me right now. I am noticing some anxiety around emergency situations..we drove by a crash yesterday and could see the driver with paramedics and I started crying. Blerg.

snoopmommymom I used a chalk paint (the brand is American decor and you can find it at michaels, it has tons of colors). For the darker coffee table I did dry brushing with a lighter color once the dark paint was dry (YouTube it its super easy) and then I used a matte finish paint instead of a wax finish. If you wanted to do a lighter color for your base you could dry brush with a darker color to give the same affect, or you could use sandpaper who just rough it up a little before adding your finish.

Hi everyone! My fil and sil left today so we spent the day pulling baseboards off and taping and edging the master bedroom. I got dizzy at one pint up on the ladder and dropped the drill, apparently giving dh a heartattack and now he's acting like I'm a China doll. 🙄 our demo for tile starts on Tuesday and the the install, and carpet right after. Hopefully we are about 3 weeks from actually being able to move in!

I've got a couple woodworking projects in the works this week. Could you share the pics again? I pickled S's bed and their changing table and was pleased with how they turned out, but I want to do something different with the next two pieces. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk

Late naps mean it's 11 pm and my kids are still awake. Ugh. This is my payback for them sleeping until 9am this morning.

cagoldi how's it going this weekend? So busy. Pete had to bring work home so I was on my own most of the time. The boys had long, simultaneous naps both yesterday and today so I'm happy about that! X is starting to seem like he manages okay if we hold his nap off until after lunch. Hallelujah. That Pirate Adventure looked fun! I've always wondered how the show is. This isn't a great picture, but we're doing the dark grey wood plank tile with a dark grout, and the grey carpet in the kids rooms and the stairs.

wedding I'm jealous of your sanctuary trip! Baby goats are the most adorable creatures. I'm always amazed at how tiny they are. Barely bigger than some of our chihuahuas have been! Can't wait until I can adopt my goats. Did C have the best time? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cher I'm sorry C got bit. I hope he's not nervous around dogs going forward. The fact that you have your own probably helps in that regard. I don't think your take on the matter is flammable, I'd view it the same way. guster Remember how you asked about those vegan cheese recipes using potatoes and carrots and I said skip them? I finally found a good one. I wouldn't say it really tastes like cheese though. It's hard to describe, but it's a keeper. I would definitely make it again (the cheese sauce recipe is used in this main recipe). neuroticmommy.com/2016/04/08/one-skillet-vegan-hamburger-helper/

Cher, so glad he's ok. Not flammable at all in my book. He's a puppy and they're working with a trainer and keeping him away from kids at this point. I'd have the same thoughts as you.

My mom loved coming with us but she couldn't quite keep up so we didn't see all the animals and I was sad I missed some. But it was still great overall. C is going around telling everyone how he saved a baby goats life by bringing him back to his mom.

Baby goats are basically lifelong kittens. They play and romp forever.

Very nice, xolastunicornxo! A good friend uses chalk paint on her projects, and I love her results, but I've not used it myself. Here's the changing table we just finished, and I've also been playing around with iron vinegar, which grays wood nicely. I like the distressed look with kids. They just add to the character. ladystrat I love it, that looks great! Honestly, what drew me to chalk paint was the promise of no sanding or priming... I'm very lazy when it comes to prep work!!

@xolastuniconxo I love the flooring you picked out. Also, we chose that same grey carpet when we finished our basement.
