DH and I went to that 40th birthday party last night. We didn't know anyone aside from the hosts but it was fun and we stayed almost 4 hours. My parents stayed over so we all went out for breakfast this morning before grocery shopping. Now we're home and everyone is being crazy.
DH's brother is in town so we're doing dinner with the family tonight. That's really all we have planned.

Good morning!
V's been really into Band-Aids recently so I let him pick out some at the store yesterday. Along with a box of Cars Band-Aids and Finding Dory Band-Aids he grabbed a bottle of glycerine. I was like OK whatever I don't have time to quarrel over this, I guess we own glycerine now.
It's actually the greatest beauty product I've ever owned. My skin looks and feels fab. My child is a shopping genius.

csho always check the Target dollar spot. They usually have character Band-Aids for $1.

I'm having all the feels. I switched S to the 18-24m clothes last week because there are a lot of summer clothes in there I want her to wear. Today I packed up all the 12-18m stuff (even though she still fits it) and dug the fall/winter 18-24m stuff out to put in the closet. I found the things that H wore when S was first born, like the dress for nb pics and their first pair of matching pjs. How is my baby getting so big??

I found a onesie that was literally the size of my hand! I cling on to the idea that we might have a third...

Adam took the kids swimming. I'm alone for the next 2 hours. I've picked up and showered. Currently watching Mad Men and eating bon bons. My brother invited us for a cook out so I don't have to make dinner and Millie's class is having a pizza party so I don't have to make her lunch tomorrow. All these things make me very happy.

I'm so bored at work. I really need to slow down when I first get in and not do everything in the first hour.

He's okay. It's my mom's puppy. The puppy isn't supposed to be around kids right now, according to the trainer, because they're still working on her anxiety. C came in from outside, the puppy happened to be in there. They passed, she lunged. She broke skin on his wrist. I wasn't there for it, but apparently he handled it okay. Cried for a few seconds and stopped. My mom is jumping right to "we need to get rid of the dog." And I'm more like, eh, it's a puppy and a toddler, the puppy is in training and the trainer made it clear that the dog can't be around kids yet.
I feel bad for C. But I will feel worse if my parents get rid of their dog over it. Maybe that's flammable.

Even though it took forever to get to the beach yesterday, we had a great day. When we got home last night, my toes were so swollen. I think I was dehydrated. Today I'm exhausted. DH took DS1 to the rink to break in his new skates and I'm watching A Bug's Life with the others.
T is an old man. In addition to his Alaska show on TV, he was glued to watching golf today. He doesn't get the whole replay thing so they kept showing the same guy's same putt over and over and he got super excited every time announcing his "favorite player Peter scored another goal." The guy's name was definitely not Peter.

Cher not flammable. If the dog has anxiety issues and they are working on it. C is fine and I hope your parents keep the dog. If it happens again then I would not want my kid around the dog ever again.

The dog is really sweet. I have never seen her growl. I feel like they knew they have to keep the dog from kids until she's trained so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Hi! Busy day at work and then busy at home too. But we got S a full size bed and got it set up. The toddler bed is gone! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I love it! I have no decent pictures of S's bed yet, but we finished hers and set it up on Tuesday. Indecent photo below. Guys, I'm in here cleaning our room like I'm an eight year old who just got told off by mom. It's bad. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk

Jack's was caused by him falling on the dog and sil still re homed since it's an easy thing to happen and they have 2 kids.

We are finally home from up north. Walked in the house and it was 80 degrees. Not what we wanted after 4 days with at a cabin with no air conditioning. No bueno. Dh will be calling the ac guy tomorrow. At least it's cooler out today an the humidity isn't too bad so we'll survive.

Jack's was caused by him falling on the dog and sil still re homed since it's an easy thing to happen and they have 2 kids. My parents don't have little kids. The trainer has recognized it and asked they don't allow the dog around little kids while they work on it. Typically the dog is kept away from C but it was just an unfortunate event. Obviously you're not going to put down a dog over this so I'm not sure what rehoming would do. The dog is a puppy, already in training and typically never around kids.
