Welcome to the IVF check-in for July 21! Check-ins will be every Monday (babyhopes) and Thursday (bonzo). If we've left you off the check-in, or if you'd like to be added or removed, please let us know! This is a check-in for those who are doing IVF or FET. Please don’t hesitate to use this check-in for IVF/FET info and support even if you’re not currently cycling. If you are interested in joining, please fill us in on your cycle. Everyone is welcome. Also, please update us along the way! Asterisks will appear by your name if you do not update us in a check-in. After four consecutive asterisks (2 weeks), you will be removed from the list. Don’t fret if you are removed from the list, check in again and we will add you back. Once you get a strong repeat beta, congrats! We eagerly await your 3TIF Grad Check-In posts! We encourage you to intro on PAIF, and while here in the meantime, please consistently use warning tags in posts and siggies, and be mindful of your status, especially on 3TIF outside this check-in. Sorry the check-in is so late. bonzo is on vacation and asked me to post for her. Tonight is my last testosterone patch. I'm glad I only had to wear them for five days as I have had a headache every day since I have started them. Stims start tomorrow. Eep!

babyhopes yay for your last patch! I'm sorry you've been dealing with headaches. AFM, tonight is my last BCP and baseline is Monday. My RE was booked up through September, so my nurse scheduled me with the RE that did our June transfer. There was yet another issue with my meds, but it's resolved. Im not sure how there seems to be a big error every cycle, but I'm really frustrated about it. QOTW: tomorrow is DH's bday, so it should be a fun weekend!

Have next appt Monday. Still stimming at three times the dose last cycle but doing okay. Had to order more meds, but it's okay. Kind of relieved that I'm doing a freeze all embryo cycle now as I can take a break after this surgery and have less to worry about when school starts. I'm not jazzed about having to buy more meds for a FET cycle, but I am just glad that I'm going ahead with the ER, which should be Wednesday or Thursday next week.

Another BFN this morning. Just waiting on betas to confirm on Monday. Trying to be strong to get through today at the sex reveal for my sister. Will wear sunglasses. We have another embryo. Not sure the plan tho...do people usually do back to back FET cycles or is there waiting in between? I'll call my REs office on Monday to find out our official plan but just curious what others experience was.

Be gentle with yourself this weekend at the sex reveal. Give yourself space if you need it. I don't think it's uncommon to do back to back FETs. My RE was willing to do that with me, but she said if we had two failed cycles, she'd recommend an endometrial biopsy. I decided to jump right to the biopsy after just one FET, and I was glad I did because it did come back positive for endometritis. That ended up being a 3 month ordeal before going forward with my second FET.

I asked my RE after our failed FET, and my clinic does back to back transfers. I'll be thinking of you today.

babyhopes, yay for starting stims! Hope it all goes well! birch113, At least you are on top of everything. GL! hoosiermama76, knowing that I was doing a freeze all cycle made it easier for me because I knew I could take a break after ER instead of jumping right into transfer. Do you have any idea of when you'll do a transfer? jense927, ((hugs)). I'm so sorry. I hope you can jump right into another FET if that's what you decide to do. We leave for Boston tomorrow! I'm excited to hopefully cross this last hurdle before we start prepping for a FET. After looking at my medical records while prepping for this appointment , though, I'm frustrated that my former RE here didn't see the adhesions because I can see a difference in my ultrasound images. QOTW: we went up to a mountain resort with my in laws. It was nice to get away and relax at the pool for a bit.

bananas22, thank you. Yes, it does make it easier, and I start school a week after my surgery. Just going to do it ASAP after my period if my RE lets me. Are you seeing a new doc in Boston or just going for fun? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I am not sure we can even do a back to back transfer. We have a family trip to Maine planned for the middle of August which would be terrible timing for a FET cycle. So we may have to sit one out.
Going in for betas this morning. Still BFNs but no sign of AF yet which is weird. I am assuming the progesterone is extending my LP?

Are you seeing a new doc in Boston or just going for fun? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I'm seeing a specialist in Boston. I had scar tissue develop in my uterus after a D&C for retained placenta which was removed back in October. When they did a hysteroscopy for this FET, a little had come back so I'm going out there to get the last of it removed.
