This is a combined TTC thread for EVERYONE currently TTC. Whether you're a first timer, a many timer, or an old timer come on in and pass the time as we struggle through WTO and the dreaded TWW.
As this is a combined thread there will be talk of LC, losses, and IF struggles. If any of these are hard for you please just let us know in your first post and I'm sure the lovely ladies on here will be happy to add TWs to accommodate.

Month/Cycle: 8
CD/DPO: CD1 again
Symptoms: Just AF
RRCS: I just read It Starts With the Egg and then promptly ordered an insane amount of supplements lol. I'm trying not to put more pressure on myself, but I can't help stress about medical costs. If I'm not pregnant by March, we could potentially have 2 insanely expensive years thanks to our high deductible health insurance. Our insurance plan options get worse and worse each year.
GTKY Questions: Do you have any New Year's resolutions? Non-TTC related, I'd like to read more. I usually read a ton, but it moved to the back burner last year. Going to put a book on my nightstand right now so I pick it up at bedtime!

Month/Cycle: 2
Timing:
CD/DPO: cd1
Symptoms:
RRCS: We have perfect fucking timing last month. I thought this was our month. I am so disappointed.
GTKY Questions: Do you have any New Year's resolutions? Nope, not this year

marigold Do you use Goodreads? I find it super helpful to keep track of everything. There is a yearly reading challenge as well.

Month/Cycle: Cycle 7
CD/DPO: CD31, not sure how many DPO since I did not track this cycle
Symptoms: None. Felt a little crampy and bloated yesterday but nothing too noticeable.
RRCS: Took a test this morning, BFN. This is now my longest cycle in this round of TTC. I had a few miserably long cycles when TTC DS, but I had been consistently 27-29 days this time. Hoping I’m not developing another ovarian cyst.
GTKY Questions: Do you have any New Year's resolutions? Hoping to create and follow some better routines and spend less time on my phone.

marigold Do you use Goodreads? I find it super helpful to keep track of everything. There is a yearly reading challenge as well. This is so lame...but I hate to delete the app a couple years ago because I was getting too competitive with the reading challenges . My last challenge was 100 books, which I read. But I started going for quick read novels, not my normal choices, just to cross books off my list. Now I keep track on a spreadsheet so I can remember what I've read but not pay attention to progress. What have you read lately? Do you have any suggestions?

sasam, fingers crossed for a late BFP! My BFP with DD was so late that I thought my cycle was messed up, so I started OPK's again. lildiamondeyes, I'm sorry for the disappointment. This cycle hit me harder than the previous ones.

I totally get the competitiveness of it all. I am a romance nerd. Military hunks are my current weakness. Dh shares kindle inlimited with me and constantly makes fun of the book covers.

Still having app issues 🙄🙄🙄
Cycle/Month: 3/4
CD/DPO: CD 11 (Day 3 of Follistim)
RRCS: First cycle with meds. Letrozole didn’t give me headaches like it did before. Holy crap meds have gotten more expensive! I paid $680 for one cycle’s worth of Follistim and one trigger shot 😳
Resolutions: same as always…get healthier, lose some weight, and get stronger

Hope you’re doing ok sasam ! Thank you! AF ended up starting, so we are on cycle 8. CD11 now. Back on temping and will start OPKs again this week. Been a super busy couple of weeks, but hoping things will slow down a bit now and we can re-focus on TTC.

orangehibiscus, that's so expensive! Everything health related seems to be going up these days. Hope you don't need a 2nd month! My temps have been wacky the past few days, so I'm not 100% sure when I ovulated. This is the first month I'm taking progesterone, and now I'm over-thinking when to start it. I've also read the symptoms can be similar to early pregnancy, so my mind is really going to be playing games the next couple of weeks.

FX this cycle is it for you sasam! Are you positive that you’ve ovulated already but you just aren’t sure of which day or do you think you might not have ovulated yet marigold? I had my follicle US yesterday. I don’t have any mature follicles yet, but I have 5 that are all the same size. 4 are on my right ovary! So this cycle is canceled because I will likely ovulate all 4 of these follicles at the same time (risk of getting pregnant with quadruplets). I had to start BCP to calm my ovaries down. I have to take BCP for 2 weeks, and we can’t have sex for a week in case I ovulate before the BCP calms my ovaries down. I’ll stop BCP after 2 weeks and then wait for CD1. RE already told me they’re going to adjust my meds (Letrozole 5mg and Follistim 50 units) for next cycle.

Waiting to O over here. I am trying not to overthink everything like always. We are technically passed Dh timeline but he hasn't brought that up yet so I am running with this.

orangehibiscus, yes, I'm confident that I ovulated. It either happened about 6 hours after I peaked (my temp was consistent with ovulating the morning after I peaked) or the next day. So I'm not terribly off either way. I'm supposed to start taking progesterone at 3dpo, but I've been reading that 4dpo is ok, too. Seriously over-thinking this! I hope next cycle goes better for you!

Hows everyone doing? I am currently in the TWW. Plan on testing next Monday. Dh did bring up his timeline and has extended it to September. The catch is I need to delete my app and be chill about TTC. Haha, does he even know me?!

According to FF, I am 3DPO, but last week’s temps got a little out of whack since DS was sick with a stomach bug. Never caught a surge on OPKs, but again, got off track with that with DS being sick. Will probably do OPKs for another couple of days in case O is just later this cycle. I did feel some ovulation pain a bit before the supposed O date and my temps have shifted overall, so hopefully it is accurate.

lildiamondeyes, your H sounds exactly like mine! Ignore the apps, stop taking my temp every day, just relax...lol not going to happen! I'm 8-9ish DPO and foolishly tested today (BFN of course). I really hope to see some BFP's around here soon. Fingers crossed for everyone!

Thinking I am ovulating late this cycle! I thought I ovulated a little over a week ago due to a slight temp shift but never saw a positive OPK and temping had been thrown off due to lack of me sleep for a couple of days when DS was sick with a stomach bug.
This morning though, my temps had a more noticeable shift upwards so I did an OPK just to see and it was blazing positive! Noticing EWCM today too. I had a mini-migraine yesterday that I had chalked up to being a PMS symptom, but now I’m wondering if it was due to my hormones shifting for ovulation. I had a headache, nausea, sensitivity to lights, sounds, and smells, but it lasted for just a couple of hours and then I was fine. In college I used to get migraines nearly every cycle, but hadn’t had one in a while. I’ll keep temping and doing OPKs to confirm the timing, but hoping it’s accurate since we’ve managed to have decent timing if this is truly ovulation time.

Woohoo! Congratulations marigold! So happy for you! FX you really did O sasam. Sorry about the migraine. I took my last day of BCP yesterday, so now I’m just waiting on CD1 and then we can start meds again.
