It’s still 90% the Fennec and Mando Show. I forgot about the baby rancor. Baby Yoda to the rescue was kind of lame? Predicable? Something. Peli acknowledging how terrible Grogu’s name a la Jaskier’s song in The Witcher amused me. I’m glad the Marshall is in the bacta tank. I enjoyed the last episode, but it felt so rushed after the slow build up over the other episodes. They need to learn how to pace things better. And yes, I knew Grogu was going to save the day the second the X-wing showed up. I did enjoy it but yes, it felt like they threw all the exciting action into this episode to make up for the weird season. It seemed like Boba Fett was 3 or 4 different shows smushed into one weirdly paced show. I enjoyed the flashbacks with the Tusken Raiders and how Fennec came to be with Boba. I enjoyed the Mando episodes. But they really fumbled the main storyline (was it even the main storyline?). |

I feel like maybe it would have been better to just have his background for Season 1, and maybe had the whole fight with the Pikes as Season 2. Or made the Season longer. It was hard to really get invested in the conflict. |
