OK so spurred by the conversation in the daily... What are you favorite apps for the N13ers? Bonus points for educational ones!

The endless apps are incredible. Right now they have a suite of them that you can pay seven dollars a month for -- music, Spanish, spelling, alphabet, numbers, something else that I'm forgetting. Busy shapes is a puzzle kind of app. You have to move pieces around to get a ball out. They grow more and more difficult as you play, they're hard for J, and I like that. For art, zen brush. And loopimal is it music app that let you choose sounds (Beats and rhythms) and put them together into 15 second song. I'm doing a bad job explaining that one, but it's fun.

Even more bonus points for an app that's either free or has a free component so I can try it out before paying for it. I'm cheap.

Ds loves peekaboo apps, we also have children's books app that include the book and a few games. He also likes fisher price apps, he know a lot of letters because of these and also a ton of words in English.

I honestly just let H download whatever she wants on her kindle. She plays with all sorts of apps, and they're free so I don't care.

The My PlayHome series by Shimon Young! There is a small free version to try it out. It's sooooo awesome, very open ended. Great for language expansion and story telling. V loves the Stores and Hospital.
