nikkipal, lol to that. Sweetjane, I watched - Grey's only. I hate that Hayes left/is leaving. I hope it is just a storyline they're playing out and that he stays. I like that character! Owen may be all of the things Bailey attributed to him, but he's also a fallible human. I am supportive of what he's done, I think, but Hayes isn't wrong about the ramifications if he's found to have been an accessory. Shitty of Owen to put that on Hayes as a deathbed confession type thing. Schmidt having to be carried out of that OR prep room was such an excellent performance, the agony, honestly, I had chills and it choked me up. Jo and Linc... I guess we're doing this. Let them be happy together, writers!

Anyone watching? I had no idea it was going to be a Station 19 crossover. That show is a snooze. I didn't realize that either. It makes more sense that when the actual show started everyone was rescued already. I really hate this crossover thing for rewatching. There is a season or two of Grey's that crossed over with Private Practice and any time I rewatch I either have to dig up those episodes too or try to fill in the blanks for myself. Now it's several seasons of nearly episode having a crossover with another show. Though in fairness I doubt I will want to rewatch any of the recent seasons.

I'm so sad about Hayes too. Hopefully he circles back but it didn't seem like it. Owen is a jerk for dropping that on him. I still hope Owen may succumb to his injuries . Linc & Jo, noooooo. She so pathetic pining after him.

This is probably not the response they were going for when a main character survived yet another brush with death but yes this was my response--

Why did Bailey and Webber just write off Levi instead of trying to help? He made a huge mistake but they're still his teachers. Why didn't Bailey especially see the continuous hand washing and not do something? I'm not saying Levi is going through the same thing she was when she had OCD but no compassion or anything? That was weird

I feel like they never really did anything with Hayes or his character. Like no development. So while I liked him I'm not surprised or sad to see him go really

Amelia and Linc are both on my nerves.
I'm actually glad Owen didn't die cuz I still like him (I know thats a UO). But I'm so tired of drama for dramas sake. It would have been fine to let the heart surgery happen without the car accident. They could have had Hayes leave without Owen's confession to him and unless they were gonna kill off Owen now they have to add in him recovering to the storyline. It's just too much lol

icedcoffee, but now Owen can develop a dependency on painkillers, hello, storyline advancement! Which I HATE THE IDEA OF but it did strike me when I was watching last night. I was also very surprised Bailey just left Schmidt there alone, she's pissed at Webber, I get that, but don't take it out on Schmidt. You're in charge of a teaching hospital. Your student was responsible for the loss of a life, whether because of hubris or whatever does not matter - he still must come to terms with it - and could have used her gentleness in that moment, not rancor.

I am glad to see Linc and Jo together but I hope it actually turns into something and doesn't ruin their friendship. I want them both to be happy.
Amelia and Linc's argument was interesting. I think they both did things that were shitty to each other. Linc for ignoring what he already knew about how Amelia felt about marriage, and Amelia for sleeping with him and then moving on without clearing shit up with him again. She is such a mess and it is weird to me that Kai is into her. She is just so....unstable. Linc at least made her more stable.
I am bummed about Hayes but I get it. Owen put him in a horrible position. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about helping people who aren't in a state where it is legal.
Poor Schmidt. I was also surprised how callous Bailey seemed. It was out of character for her. I mean, he really fucked up, but he was punishing himself enough. I liked that Grey pointed out that literally all of her residency class would have done the same thing, lol.

I thought Bailey was totally taking her own guilt out on Schmidt about letting this awful method happen. I mean... Could you imagine you are going in for surgery and you're told the surgeon won't even be in the room? Not even a proctor or cameral system so someone can be monitoring? This was just such an awful idea. And she would say he needed to process it his own way or something. I bet they have some heart to heart next week.
I HATE Linc and Jo together. It reminds me when George and Izzy suddenly had feelings for each other. Why can't there ever be a friendship between a man and a woman? I loved that they showed them as just BFFs for so long, that sibling kind of BFF relationship.
Also, so Grey was in Minnesota forever. Then comes home and her dude comes to visit, and she just goes to a hotel with him? I know they like to forget she has kids, but this is ridiculous.

And her class did so much worse! I feel like residents after them have been so tame

I just watched last night. I really thought Teddy’s head injury was going to make her drop dead with no one paying attention. I’m so glad the bruised heart worked. I was waiting for that to be a drama story line between Maggie and Winston. I thought that scene between Jo and Linc was hot! Maybe it’s just that they’re both hot people but I’m on board. I love their dynamic and how they’ve been raising the kids together.
I’m on board with Amelia and Kai too. I’ve been watching Amelia since Private Practice and love her character. She’s never been able to find real happiness. I thought she had with Linc but turned into same shit different relationship. Maybe this is exactly what she needs. Kai really seems to SEE her and Amelia seemed so comfortable with them (I think is correct?) in that bar scene.

How did Schmitt end up out behind the hospital? I thought his friends were going to make sure he wasn’t alone.

While I like Linc and Jo separately, I HATE them together. It's just so tired, the best friends for life that develops into a romantic relationship. Why can't they just allow them to be friends? Why couldn't Jo hook up with Hayes?!

I guess I'm in the minority about Hayes. I don't care that he's leaving..like at all. To be fair, since he's been on, I haven't been great about actually watching the episodes. I'm usually doing other things at the same time. Also I didn't like his character on Shameless, so maybe I'm holding a grudge. lol

I REALLY liked Amelia and Linc together, and I hate that they ruined him by having him pressure her to get married.

I thought Linc was a good solid anchor for Amelia’s personality if mess. But I don’t mind him and Jo really. I think he’d treat her well and she deserves someone loyal.

Or Jo and Linc will have some falling out about the hook up, but then will have to get into a sham marriage just to keep the baby and then fall in love for realz. I’m just bitter about them getting involved. I’ve had so many guy friendships that have fallen apart when they date someone who thinks that men and women can’t be friends. It brought me so much joy to see Jo and Linc just being friends.

I hope they don't go down a sham marriage route - that shit is played out
