Hey guys, this is a really informal check in this week. Let me know how you're doing, and mostly, let me know if you want me to keep this up. It seems that week after week less and less people are participating. Is there anything you'd like to change to get into it more?? I know I'm really busy (especially in the summer and early fall) and don't check back as often as I feel like I should. Also, a reminder that even though I seem to have taken over for now, anyone can post these on Tuesday.

Hi. I introd and never came back. Had a stretch where I just didn't want to think about anything TTC related, plus summer. Sorry I'm not making a great first impression.
I do have a question that google didn't answer but I don't know where is appropriate to ask, so I'll try here. When considering infertility, or specifically secondary infertility with history of miscarriage, and counting toward the 1 year mark, does that mean total time trying including the time pregnant that ended in loss? Or excluding the time spent pregnant? The guidelines I found said 1 year of well timed intercourse if under 35, but not to wait a year for secondary if with a hx of mc. I guess long story short is I'm afraid my loss (which was septic / emergent d&c) has caused scar tissue/adhesions and there's nothing to be gained by waiting if a procedure is required to correct it. I'm lost. A great question for my healthcare provider, but I was unhappy with the care I received from my MW practice during my last mc so I'd need to find someone new.

Hi thankfully, I'm fairly certain that the clock resets after any pregnancy, no matter how it ended. However I do believe that that is for interventions, and that most doctors would not consider checking for, er, for lack of a better term, structural damage, to be an intervention. If it were me, I would definitely consider talking to someone soon, if for nothing other than peace of mind =)

thankfully my doctor told me that the clock restarts if you get pregnant, even if you miscarry. Which is so hard. I'm so sorry for everything you have been through.

Speedy I would love to still have the check in but I understand if you don't want to keep it up. I have been pretty MIA lately. I'm sorry.

Radley I'm definitely willing to keep it up if there's interest. I'm thinking that maybe for the summer we could go to an every other week format so that it's not so much pressure on anyone. Thoughts? Also, I called to try to make an appointment to get the IUD out and they're closed until the middle of next month. Because of course lol.

Hey ladies, sorry I've been a little absent myself. We just moved across the country recently so I've been very busy, and we are still adjusting. Any time I can get to myself I try to nap or shower if I'm not cleaning.
I really care about all of you, and appreciate our checkins here. More often than not I'm at least able to read when I can't comment. I think about y'all a lot, and send so much love.
I can't believe it's Monday again already. I need the weekend back.. please?

notelsie, I feel you. After my husbands concussion was better, we moved most of our stuff into the new apartment, but there's still so much stuff to be done! Radley, Government run hospital clinic? lol. I'm cool with waiting a little while longer though. I have my surgery this Friday, so I'll be pretty much down with that.

Thanks Speedy and Radley, just knowing the right info is super helpful. My mentioning it here gave me the push I needed to call the new provider that was recommended to me by the OB I followed up with after my procedure. I scheduled an annual and figure it will be helpful to establish a baseline with them, go over my concerns and see what they think. Glad I called when I did because they couldn't get me in until Sept. I think I can do every other week. Summer is crazy for me too, in a good way. Good luck getting settled notelsie, I don't envy the cross country move! We've got major work on our house scheduled for end of summer/fall so I'll have another kind of chaos.

So from what I'm gathering, everyone is okay with an every other week format for the remainder of the summer. I'll probably start every week again in September =)

Guys, it's surgery morning today. Heading out in about 10 minutes. Send all good thoughts please! I'm sure it'll be fine, but there's always that little "what if it's not?".

I don't really know what to say or where to say it.. but I'm having one of the most terrible nights emotionally. It's getting close to 2 and I can't relax to go to sleep. My brain won't chill.
This is mostly just a vent, but I'm feeling really desperate tonight.

notelsie *hugs* I hope you were able to get some sleep in the end. I hate how sometimes your brain just goes down the rabbit hole without your permission.

Have y'all found anything more reliable than wondfos? I was getting evaps about a week ago that I thought were very squinty positives. Then they went away so I guess they aren't all defective?
Possible TW?
My walmart is out of frers and cheapies so of course I took another wondfo and I'm seeing squinters again, but this time actually within the time frame. I've been having pinkish or pinkish brownish cm off and on so I'm really confused.
I'm sick of being in limbo. I still haven't gotten my period since our last loss and I'm ready for my body to "work". We are going to the beach next weekend and I'm hoping not to have to deal with my period then.
