Someone leaked the trailer. Nice little surprise cameo at the end. Wasn't expecting that. fb.watch/7AaMx_-iOL/

I'm still hopeful for Maguire and Garfield cameos. And given the appearance of certain villains, it seems plausible. I guess Dr. Strange is adding to the chaos coming in Multi-verse of Madness though. Certainly wasn't well thought out.

I've been very happy with all the trailers I've seen lately from Marvel. And darn if I don't want to see them in the theaters. Hopefully COVID things will calm down a bit before 10 Rings.

I'm trying to convince H to go to a midday (like 11 am) showing in the middle of the week, because he goes in at 3 pm and I set my own hours. Theater will be practically empty, and we'll get to enjoy it on the big screen.

athn64, I have certainly enjoyed certain Marvel and other movies in a packed theater - the audience energy can't be denied at times. Still remember Cap and the hammer in Endgame...such a loud audience reaction I had no idea if there was dialog until I saw the movie again. And I was making noise myself. That said, I'm fortunate enough to be able to hit a lot of matinees, and enjoy going by myself many times. I thought I saw that the upcoming movies are theater only to start? But pretty fast move to VOD and Disney+? So unless something untoward comes up, I think I'll find a nice weekday matinee and settle in. I really did enjoy Widow at the show. I can't really fault Disney for opening Widow on Disney+ given COVID surging right at the wrong time, but wish contractual terms had been revised, if what's being said in the press is accurate.

Also I'm really excited for this movie. Marvel movies will always have my money, hands down.

We're excited, but not likely to watch in theater. Just our location, and the length of Marvel movies. Closest good theater (where I don't look like a 90 year old walking out at the end) is 1.5 hours away. With Marvel movies being 2+ hours (sometimes almost 3), we couldn't do anything but drive, go to the movie, drive home, and that would still be 5 hours away from the house. If we wanted to get a drink, or appetizers, 6+. Whomp whomp (never miss a city more than when movies come out)

Trailer number 2! Still crossing fingers that eventually we get some other spider-men showing up.

My boys and I are seeing this in an hour and the reviews I've heard so far have me really excited! They're showing it every hour at our theater and almost every showing is sold out (ours is sold out). I drove past the theater last night and the parking lot (which is huge) was packed!

cubed, hope it's awesome! I was hoping H and I would be able to go to an early showing today, but it just didn't work out logistically. So we won't be able to go until after Christmas. And now I will avoid this thread and spoilers like a plague for the next week and a half.

Definitely stay off the interwebs; I'm seeing spoilers everywhere.

I saw it last night and it was enjoyable, but would be one that I could have waited to see on Disney+. The highlight for me {Spoiler}was how awesome of an actor Willem Dafoe is. He stole the movie.

That said, I never saw any of the not Tom Holland spidermans, so I'm not a giant fangirl of it

The spiderman movies aren't on Disney+ because of their deal with Sony. We saw it today. I enjoyed. Charlie Cox was my favorite cameo tbh.

I saw it today and really enjoyed it! I love most Marvel films but this one was so fun to watch as a person who has seen all the SpiderMan films also. It reminded me how much I like Andrew Garfield’s version of Peter (and really just AG in general).
It sure didn’t seem like a trilogy ending though. So many loose ends! It’s very obvious Tom’s Spidey is going to be around for a long time yet.

We watched last night. DH fangirled the whole time. Is it still no spoilers? I absolutely loved the dialog between the 3 during the last chunk of the movie and had tears in my eyes whe MJ fell. I feel like there were holes with how it ended though, I'm not sold on that.

Although I was very annoyed that they showed a Scream preview before so my kids closed their eyes and plugged their ears.
And then they showed Tom Holland’s new film Uncharted as a preview too and my youngest was very confused why the Spiderman movie didn’t make sense so far 😂

Maybe a spiderman from a different universe? I'm probably rambling, but I can see them going that way.

I saw an interview with him and Zendaya where they talked about him going snowboarding because his contract was over so he could finally go. I LOVE Tom Holland, so I really hope he comes back and that part of the interview worried me.

I’m bumping this because I finally watched it this weekend on Disney (edit nope it was Apple TV sorry) I really enjoyed it. I haven’t watched the other Spider-Man movies (non Tom anyway) for soooo long that seeing some of the other villains was a nostalgia hit and I need to watch the old ones again now lol.
I loved seeing Tobey as middle aged Spider-Man and how mature he was and how he helped Tom (using real names to make it clear and not confusing lol) not kill Dr Osborne. And I also kinda teared up at Andrews reaction to realizing he was able to save at least one universe’s MJ.
One question I have, and my H’s answer wasn’t satisfying for me… now that everyone has forgotten that PP is Spider-Man, how to the avengers et al remember him during all the endgame and civil war stuff? I mean he wasn’t always in his spidey suit. My H says that they will just remember him in his suit but that seems so weird to me. Like wouldn’t at least a few of them go “huh, isn’t it weird we never saw his face?”
Anyway, I wonder if he’ll seek out any of the avengers to help him. To me, Dr Strange seems like an obvious first choice. Out of anyone, he’d believe Peter if he told him what Strange helped him do. And I bet some of the other avengers would believe it too (I mean not just because he could literally prove it by just being himself lol) given all the weird shit they have seen in the last few years.
But I wonder if he’ll do any of that. He seems like he wants to punish himself for “being the reason” that people get hurt around him. I suppose in my eyes, the avengers or other superheroes are the best bet for where to start because they can protect themselves and will help him.

willow, I got all excited but I can't find Spiderman No Way Home on my Disney+. I thought the deal with Sony precluded it showing up on Disney for a while. Am I just missing it? That said, I've somehow been very engaged in watching the Librarians the last few days. Still need to catch up on Moonknight.

I’ll admit that my H just got it all queued up to play and I never noticed what platform it was on but I guess it was Apple TV and he purchased it. My bad!

I’m 1 episode behind on Moon knight because it’s Holy Week and I am a church admin assistant. But I have Monday off to catch-up. Just saw this tonight and I’m devastated. I get wanting to keep them safe and punishing himself but Tom with MJ and Ned was perfect. I feel like he’s going to be lost without them. Personally, I think Hulk/Banner would be the least affected but that’s my theory. (Gamma radiation stuff)

Cheshie6 Do you mean Bruce wouldn't have been affected by the spell maybe, like he would still remember Peter? That is an interesting theory. I am definitely anxious to see how it plays out.

Also, when Peter came to Strange to cast the spell, Wong said, "Leave me out of this." Maybe Strange took that to mean to leave Wong out of the spell and Wong will remember Peter.
