I've been MIA for the last week-ish and just got caught up (babies!! squee!!), and I saw this wasn't posted yet for this week.
How far along are you?
How big is baby?
Any appointments this week?
How are you feeling?
Vents/questions/concerns:
QOTW: What shows are you watching right now?

How far along are you? 36 weeks
How big is baby? A cabbage patch doll
Any appointments this week? Saw the OB yesterday, everything's good. I was told I'm going to have a "small baby", and when I asked what that meant, the dr responded "she won't be 8 or 9 pounds". Oooooookay. Next appt is Monday as I'm on every week appts now.
How are you feeling? Very uncomfortable, as per usual. Sleep is very difficult at this point, even sitting up.
Vents/questions/concerns: I'm kind of shitting myself that I have less than a month to go now. I feel like we still have so much left to do
QOTW: What shows are you watching right now? Game of Thrones! I'm so excited it's back on. Other than that, nothing really. DS is obsessed with Team Umizumi right now so we watch a lot of that :-D

How far along are you? 35+1
How big is baby? A kid size backpack
Any appointments this week? No, next Tuesday I start going weekly
How are you feeling? Terrible. I feel so awful physically and mentally. On top of the physical pain (SPD, belly nerve pain, back pain) I've started having some anxiety about going into labor early 🙁 I don't know why I'm feeling this way, I haven't with my previous pregnancies, I wish I could shake it. I just don't want her to come too early.
Vents/questions/concerns: see above
QOTW: What shows are you watching right now? We just finished Young & Hungry on Netflix, it was a cute series. I can only do lighthearted shows right now so no Law & Order, etc until after baby comes 😁

How far along are you? 35+1
How big is baby? Two backpacks
Any appointments this week? MFM on Thursday for BPP
How are you feeling? I'm carrying 12lbs of babies at the moment so it is what it is, but I'm okay.
Vents/questions/concerns: We still have lots of things to do before the babies arrive, but physically I'm hoping they come a bit sooner rather than later.
My OB hopes they come around 37 weeks because they are very good size babies and she knows I'm uncomfortable all the way around. I also want to just start getting into our 3u3 routine, rather than worrying about it.
QOTW: What shows are you watching right now? Happy that GOT came back and I'm still trying to finish this season of House of Cards.

jexxa wb online and thanks for the check in! Is it me or is 8-9 pounds not necessarily small but rather average? Or did I read it wrong and she meant it will def not be a 8-9 pounder? I feel the same way when I think of the fact there's just a month left ! unicornsparkles sorry you are so miserable!! I can only sympathize. I hope you will be able to shake your anxiety about babygirl coming too early! happyfeet9 oof 12lbs of babies sounds intense - I can imagine that even tho there is still stuff to finish before they arrive (ditto here!! Ohso much 😥) you are sort of really ready for them to come ☺

I mean, DS was 7lb5oz so I won't be surprised if this one is right around there too. I have one more scan in 2 weeks, so we'll see how much she's estimated to weigh then.

How far along are you? 35+1 How big is baby? A bunch of carrots?! (the vegetable sizes are truly ridiculous) Any appointments this week? No, not till next week. How are you feeling? Like everyone else, anxious, exhausted, everything hurts Vents/questions/concerns: QOTW: What shows are you watching right now? I have been watching nothing, lol. I can't seem to get into any shows except Fixer Upper or Island Buyers or just home improvement/ beach shows. I'm too tired to even follow a series right now jexxa , I was wondering how your OB knew about the size. Does yours regularly do scans for an estimate? I wish mine would. I have no idea on size. My first DD was 38 weeks and 6lbs 14oz and I would be fine with that again as long as she is healthy! I'm so scared I won't be able to push out an 8 or 9 pounder, lol unicornsparkles , I have no idea why but I'm totally freaked about going too early also. I mean 38 weeks is considered ok so technically not early but I'm wondering if its because I'm feeling so terrible most of the time and bigger this time that every night I'm wondering about it..

jt2378 that's exactly where I am- feeling terrible and I feel like this will be my biggest baby yet which is causing the worry about her coming early. My fundal height (as subjective as I know it is) has her at 5 weeks ahead, my boys only ever measured 2-3 weeks ahead on fundal height so it scares me a little bit.

happyfeet9 you hit the nail on the head with being ready to get in the 3u3 routine vs having to just think about it. Almost every day I'm like 'okay, let's do this!' but it's not quite baby time yet 😋 I'm really looking forward to getting into our new 'normal'

They don't do regular scans - I've been seeing the MFM since 28 weeks to monitor an issue with one of baby's kidneys. That's usually where I've been given the weight estimates.

With DS I had a scan at 40+1 because I was overdue and they wanted to check my fluid levels. Otherwise my last scan would have been the 20wk AS.

How far along are you? 35 weeks today!
How big is baby? Canary Melon (?)
Any appointments this week? No planned appointments this week.
How are you feeling? Eh tired! I had a lot of help the past week and a half. I decided to go it alone this week. Not too bad, but sleeping is a struggle!
Vents/questions/concerns: just watching my BP and symptoms. Last night I had really bad right upper pain. I was really close to calling doctor, but my BP didnt go over 150. So I decided to sleep it off. The pain seems to have diminished, but if it comes back I'll be calling.
QOTW: What shows are you watching right now? I'm boring. lol I watch Teen Mom 2, what ever history crap my DH has on. I am actually more into playing games on my phone at night.

How far along are you? 35 weeks
How big is baby? A bunch of carrots?
Any appointments this week? It's my last week of no appts- every week starting at 36 weeks. Eek!
How are you feeling? Tired. Really sore/achy in my pelvic area and lower back from carrying low.
Vents/questions/concerns: I'm starting to get nervous about labor/delivery! I had a scheduled induction with DS so the whole waiting to go into labor thing is a new experience. She's so low already I feel like it'll go quick and she'll just be ready to fall on out. Haha.
QOTW: What shows are you watching right now? So excited Game of Thrones is back!! I've also been watching the Bachelorette and 90 Day Fiancé for easy reality shows.

How far along are you? 35 weeks today!
How big is baby? Honeydew melon
Any appointments this week? Nope
How are you feeling? I think the same as most of you...tired, anxious and in pain. I have low blood pressure so that has been making me feel dizzy a lot lately. Also, it scares me when my heart just starts randomly racing a mile a minute. I am snoring like crazy at night so now DH is sleeping in the other room...oh well, more room for me!
Vents/questions/concerns: I am putting the pressure on DH to get the baby's room together this weekend so I can finish organizing and cross all that stuff off my list. Going to work most days is literally a pain...my office chair is the worst and I think I am going to ask my boss if I can start working from home more.
QOTW: What shows are you watching right now? Anything that does not make me cry (mostly cooking shows). We do watch America's Got Talent and that usually makes me cry every week because they have some sob story on. I hate crying all the time.

How far along are you? 35+2
How big is baby? Pineapple
Any appointments this week? Nope, weekly appts start on Monday though.
How are you feeling? Stressed. I am desperate to get work done before the end of next week, so I'll probably be working most of this weekend. I'm tired from not sleeping well. Pregnancy insomnia, pee breaks, and pain has been keeping me up at night. My OB prescribed me a muscle relaxer a few weeks back and I've been taking it on and off since. I think I may start taking it more often because I get better sleep when I do. Also, I've been having more and more contractions. They aren't the super painful ones yet, but they definitely aren't comfortable. I've been having at least 10 of those a day for the last few days.
Vents/questions/concerns: So, my hubby has a friend from college that he hasn't seen in probably 4-5 years or so. He was a groomsmen in our wedding, so they are close, but they can go months and months without talking. He's going through a divorce, so he's been calling and leaning on MH a lot more lately. He lives in Oklahoma and wants to come visit, which I was totally fine with because he was going to be coming at the end of July/beginning of August. Well, he called yesterday saying he wants to come September 5th and stay for a week. Am I crazy to think that's not cool? We didn't argue about it when he told me because I basically told MH that I'm too stressed right now to even think about it. But, of course, I've been thinking about it and I really don't see how MH doesn't automatically know that's not a good idea. I mean, come on dude. As if having a newborn isn't enough, I'm having a c section 3 WEEKS before then! He's logic behind it is that his mom will be here to help.
QOTW: What shows are you watching right now? Super excited about GOT being back! We just finished a mini series on netflix called Deep Water and I just started watching Friends from College.

mrshall1027 oh hell no to that visit sept 5. I'm not even excited about having a rotating door of grandparents coming bc it's going to be so hard to adjust, I'd flip my lid if it was just a friend. He can come before the c/s or like, October. That'd be my hill.

How far along are you? 35 weeks
How big is baby? A bunch of carrots
Any appointments this week? I had an NST and OB appointment yesterday. Everything was good. I'm on to weekly appointments now.
How are you feeling? Pretty much like everyone else. Large and achy and tired.
Vents/questions/concerns: MH took some time off this week to get some baby prep done so I'm really hoping we can get a lot checked off our to do list. The nursery is soooo close to being done so we should be able to finish that and hopefully clean up the house.
QOTW: What shows are you watching right now? Game of Thrones!!! Omg I'm so excited for this season.

mrshall1027 that is not cool, I would not be happy either, especially with a C-section recovery. I am 38+2 today. I had an appointment yesterday and they did a growth scan because my bump had actually gotten smaller and I haven't gained weight in two weeks. Baby is about 7lbs 4 and is just sitting at a funny angle which is what I told them. Other than that just doing PT for my hips and trying not to move as much as possible. The nurse said he is basically in position to come out and could any day now but I am not holding my breath. Q: just finished house of cards and will be getting into game of thrones

How far along are you? 35w 1d
How big is baby? the size of a kid's backpack. Which I must say is up to interpretation, because some of my students had backpacks that were as big as them.....
Any appointments this week? Yep! Today. Was supposed to be with my normal midwife, but she is in L&D so I get to meet the practice's new midwife.
How are you feeling? I am so exhausted all the time. It's ridiculous. When I'm not wanting to sleep, I am in the deep throes of nesting. Physically my pelvis and hips are sore, and I have been having horrible hot flashes.
Vents/questions/concerns: Nope!
QOTW: What shows are you watching right now? How to get away with Murder, Grimm, Bones, and hopefully once I can fix our Dish onDemand Outlander!

mrshall1027 You are SOOOO not out of line with not wanting YH's friend there 3 weeks after. I can't imagine having a guest that soon after esp. with a c-section. cali I wish I were on to weekly appointments. I won't be until August 2nd. At 37 weeks....

How far along are you? 35+5
How big is baby? Ultrasound today put him at 6#9oz!!! 😱 Give or take half a lb. 😱😱😱
Any appointments this week? Had u/s today and baby is head down! And he's not crazy hairy, lol. I had decided he was going to be super hairy Bc I'm Hispanic and usually Hispanic babies are super hairy. But then my sister was like "uh you weren't hairy as a baby (or now) and DH is white and not hairy... so why would the baby be hairy????" It made me go huh!! And the tech said she couldn't see a lot of fuzziness around his head which usually indicates a super hairy baby, so I guess he will have little or no hair. Too funny!!
And appt with dr. Gbs Swab done - not nearly as bad as I thought, plus I learned it's a butthole swab too, but that was the least of my worries -- and cervix check- OMG OWWWWW. He was like yeah... your cervix is really high up, sorry. This is hurting. But It's closed. So at least. But he did say baby's head is RIGHT THERE. so it'll start coming down the more I start contracting. I have about one really painful one per day. And then the usual other ones.
How are you feeling? Eh okay. I slept amazingly last night, surprisingly. Usual hip pain. My ankles and feet are so swollen today, they hurt so much. Ate lunch too fast so heartburn is intense today.
Vents/questions/concerns: I am so anxious to meet him- but not wanting him to come early bc that will screw up my benefit time and time off. Can we FF a month??
QOTW: What shows are you watching right now? We cancelled cable when we moved to save some money. We also are holding off on Netflix and Hulu til I'm on leave. So we get like 10 basic channels right now and hbo. So the only thing I watch are jeopardy, wheel of fortune, and GAME OF THRONES!!! <3 haha. Im so glad it's back! I love that show. I think I may rewatch it from the beginning while I'm on leave. I'm excited to get Netflix and Hulu back soon... lets see if I even have time to watch anything 😂
