We have an Adelyn (6) & Audrey (3). I had planned on Adelyn using the nickname Ellie, but it never happened & Aud calls her Ada & that stuck.
Other names on our list are: Amelia (Mia) C/Katherine Emerson (Emmy) Charlotte (Charlie) Emily Hadley Isabel (Isa, pronounced E-sa, like from Elena of Avalor 😂, it was our then 3yo’s addition to the nickname list) Lydia Oliva Penelope Sophie/a

Cher lots of the women in my family share names. My mom and I have the same middle name. I don’t think it’s a deal breaker at all.

Ehhhhh. They both end in an "-ee" sound, but the emphasis on the S is different in both names. I wouldn't say they rhyme. It sounds so similar though, right? yeah, now that you’ve mentioned it I think they’re too similar. I do love Morgan for your family.

Cher lots of the women in my family share names. My mom and I have the same middle name. I don’t think it’s a deal breaker at all. Yup, DD has my middle name. One DD has Hs middle name, the other one has my middle name. Our 3rd DD is left out though haha. We obviously ran out of middle names then didn't want to choose another family name and possibly upset the other side of the family so we just gave her her own

Now I’m leaning toward baby girl Horowitz to be named as a junior after her dad in the style of Alexis Ohanian.

Cher I don’t think so but that’s just so personal. Some people really don’t name like that and others do. DS’s middle name is his birth moms name and if he was a girl I would have considered it for a first name so clearly I don’t need a lot of separation from names. Lol. And yeah, H was like “Stephanie, Brittany, Melissa, Jessica”. No offense but I went to school with all dem girls. MH is suddenly all in on Melanie. Which… it’s a nice name, but I went to school with Melanie’s. I feel like dated names only work if they’re more than one generation off. I have like… the most common name ever and I always kind of cringe when I hear it for little girls.

Ryan means “little King” if that affects your thinking at all. Not saying it should, just sharing since you said you liked meanings. But maybe you meant emotional meaning not literal.
Hi. I really like names.

Omg - I missed the name conversation and the poofed names. ::kicks rock:: I promise you only missed where I was like “that was my first pets name” or “that was the street I grew up on”. Internet safety and all that. The names are still in there.
