Abigail/Abby is one I have always loved. I would have a beer with an Abby.
Including your infant.

H and I were so far apart on girl names too. He only seemed to like ones that were popular when we were kids in the 80s/90s. I work with both a summer and a daisy and they are both wonderful people so I like those names a lot. The name I loved that H was so adamantly against was Morgan. But that seems more your H’s style than yours. Names that were also on my list: Victoria (nn Tori or just full name Tori) Alison (nn Ally) Sloane Shea (although definitely questionable in your area due to the stadium) Names that I’ve like on DS’s peers/my friends kids: Isla Cami (usually a nn) Kendall ETA: I also love the name April but I’ve never decided if it’s weird of your not born in the month and obvi that wouldn’t work with your likely mn. Oh my gosh, MH loves 80’s/90’s names. He has suggested a number of dated names.

Well this is the best news ever! Congratulations!!! I was really hoping SO would go for Daisy when I was pregnant but no dice (not that it matters) Sabrina seems like it may be a mix of both your styles. NN Bri maybe Autumn was another one of my favorites I love Cecelia no Cece Sage (this doesn’t match either of your styles I just love it so much lol) Molly Marlow Margot Paige (this one feels very girl next door you can have a beer with to me) Ophelia nn Fi Lucy Finley Willa Ohhh Margot. I forgot my love for the name Margot.

I loved it. Paige is one of my long-term favorite names.

Cher I don’t think so but that’s just so personal. Some people really don’t name like that and others do. DS’s middle name is his birth moms name and if he was a girl I would have considered it for a first name so clearly I don’t need a lot of separation from names. Lol. And yeah, H was like “Stephanie, Brittany, Melissa, Jessica”. No offense but I went to school with all dem girls.

Which… it’s a nice name, but I went to school with Melanie’s.

Cher that’s like when we fell in love with the name Ally and two days later remembered that our dog is named Callie. 🤦🏻♀️ Omg, dog names def interfere with this process. With our first kid, we wanted to give him our dog’s name and rename the dog. 🤣

This is so wonderful!!! Congrats Cher! Also The M name is only weird if it’s your last name and you name her the same name for both first and last. Otherwise I love using family names (DS has a name from MH and I have a name from my dad) Edit: missed the PDQ and took out the specific name sorry!

Congratulations!! Wishing you an uneventful and easy pregnancy.
And I am biased on the name because I have a Chloe and love it. I really like Daisy but now maybe not with the rhyming situation.
I also like Harper or Penelope nn Poppy.

Also, MH said he would do Daisy but then pointed out it rhymed with one of the people in our house’s names which 😬😬 Ehhhhh. They both end in an "-ee" sound, but the emphasis on the S is different in both names. I wouldn't say they rhyme.

So so many heartfelt congratulations! I adore the name Daisy. When I was younger and dumber I named my first dog that and then I could never use it on a baby. I’ll throw out Beatrice nn Bea/Birdie/Betty/Betsy just because I still love it so much. And I’m pretttty sure the name wasn’t what caused the terror that is my DD2. Almost positive. Actually, my DD3 with Beatrice in the middle spot is the most strong willed of my bunch. Cher could help us find out if it’s the name or coincidence! For science!
