Our hospital sends us home with 3 Halo sleepsacks, is that not the norm?

No clue about the hospital I'm delivering at but the one I work at definitely does not do that- it doesn't even offer wet wipes! Just washcloths 🙄 The one I'm delivering at is different, but I've never heard of hospitals giving away sleep sacks, so who knows!

I haven't done this before but I packed two maternity yoga pants and two nursing tanks. The only thing I'm thinking is function /comfort. But what if I want to look nice for photos ? Ugh I hate over packing though. It's a pet peve. And I have a few outfits packed for her. What if she's an 11 pound baby ? What if it's hot/cold. Should I pack pants? I'm so hot all the freaking time, wearing pants hasn't been on my radar in months. I didn't even think about looking nice for pictures. We don't know if there's a photographer in the hospital, and if we'd even want to do that. We haven't even finished our discussion on a newborn shoot. Or completed our registry. And I'm 37w. Ugh.

I typically run very warm but packed two pairs of lightweight pants just in case, I automatically get a 4 day stay with an RCS at my hospital and was surprised by how cold it could get. For pics, maybe just a lightweight robe or cardigan that could look nice in pics? I didn't do this the first time around and wish I had. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

I didn't change into clothes until the morning I was discharged. I wore the shit out of that hospital gown. I feel like maybe I did it wrong, but it just seemed so much easier.

I'm a bit of a stalker because my bmb went to FB after the exodus. The longer I'm pregnant (40+2 today), the more it's looking I'll have an A17 baby anyways! But I just wanted to +1 this. I packed one nursing gown JIC, but I worry about blood and bodily fluids. I'd rather have that all over the hospital gown rather than my nice nursing robe or nightie.

I love the hospital gowns but DH doesn't like seeing me in them for some reason. If it were up to me, I would wear one my entire hospital stay.

Our hospital sends us home with 3 Halo sleepsacks, is that not the norm? My SIL got one from her hospital but she delivered at a different hospital than me, so I have no idea if my hospital gives anything. I'm bringing one jic.

@easilyunamused, I didn't realize your bmb didn't make it over. Just join us here, even if baby comes today. We have a few July babies already!
