The Speak Up content wasn't up when I got on the bike this evening, and I was pressed for time anyway, so I did a bike bootcamp and a 10 minute core and called it good.
Just realized that I can't close my stand ring on my Apple Watch and I'm annoyed. Like my work day was SO BUSY that I actually didn't get out of my chair for three hours. Not my fault! Ugh.

I made a lime dressing this morning for my burrito bowl. I juiced two whole limes, salt, pepper, cumin, and olive oil. All I can taste is the olive oil and it feels like I am just eating a greasy bowl. I am displeased. If you have any left (or if you want to try again) could you add some plain greek yogurt to it? And maybe a little cilantro (unless you are a cilantro is the devil kind of person).

Morning.
30 minute walk+run with Adrian 10 minute post run stretch with Robin
Somehow I expected that walk run to be easy? I worked. It was tougher than I expected so it makes me annoyed that it counts as a walking class, not a running class on peloton. Oh well. Walked a couple extra minutes at the end to get myself to 3 miles. The stretch felt so nice. I NEED to do yoga today and make sure I'm limber and loose for double digits tomorrow.
Food will whatever. I've been doing much better than normal when I'm at my parent's house. I'm not waking up super bloated, so I'm calling those both wins and just doing my best and not beating myself up over anything. All good. All good.

Good morning! I got up and did a 3 mile run in this morning. It felt good and it’s good to have it done!

Just walking for me again. Not sure what the deal is but it’s really been getting my heart rate up just to push the double Bob on my moderately hilly route.
I got my job offer I was expecting, DD starts preschool in a week (full time vs the part time nanny we’ve had all summer), and overall I’m excited to have a more stable routine on the horizon. I’m trying to give myself lots of grace but I’d be lying if I said there wasn’t some guilt/anxiety creeping in about how few peloton workouts I’ve done this month.
This is only tangentially related to this thread but DS was watching Dino Dana this morning and that girl looks like she could be related to Olivia.

Squats went well last night. Bench was a little iffy because my stupid butt wouldn't stay on the bench at first but I got that sorted out.
Apparently today was a woosh day. It puts me 10lbs under where I started tracking on 6/23.

But I do feel like if I just started doing squats and my team was like ??! I could say "closing my rings!" and people would go "ohhhhh" and understand.

I did Jess’s latest Saturday 60 boot camp. I knew I was in trouble when I saw it had a difficulty rating over 8 and it did not disappoint. Oof, great workout but I’m glad it’s done!

I was so excited when my doc put me on Trazodone for sleep at my appt yesterday. Until I had a serotonin syndrome-like reaction, apparently even at a low dose it's too much for me with my two other psych meds. Gah.

I love LOVE my last Athleta order. I got two sweatshirts, but they are a thinner material and just really lightweight. The office I work in is always freezing, so I'm wearing one today and it's super comfortable.

Kids still at camp so I'm out of my routine. I slept in yesterday but went to body pump last night and got in cardio. Great cardio this AM + abs. I'm well on track for July to be my best caloric (am I using that word correctly?) burn of 2021. I shouldn't have any issue meeting my goal bc I have gym plans the next two mornings. It will be a tough month to beat going forward. B- sprouted bread with an egg, havarti cheese, and micro greens + a side of cherry tomatoes. L- I made this yesterday and will eat on it all week as long as the zucchini stays fresh. It's good! (I love dill.) www.thekitchn.com/recipe-lemon-quinoa-with-currants-dill-and-zucchini-221489D- probably just some cheese and crackers with a little fruit and veggies.

She does look similar to Olivia. Congrats on the job offer!

I did a Flash 15 today and a 10 minute lower body stretch. I'm so glad they always remind us to breathe during the workouts. I always seem to hold my breath.
B: chicken bacon, egg and cheese sandwich L: chicken burger and brussel sprouts D: chicken thighs and salad.
I'm just over food. I mean I want it to appear but I don't want to decide what to make or have to prepare it.

Hey all. Yesterday with my trainer was a super tough chest and shoulders day but it was mostly chest. I was shaking by the end. Today we did legs and my glutes are for sure going to feel it because they were super tight by the end. Good stuff though!

I spent the weekend away with friends I hadn't seen in years. We did get in some walks, but also lots of delicious food and drinks and time lounging on the water. It was all worth it.
This morning was a 20 minute walk + run with Jess Sims and a 5 minute core with Matty. I'm also keeping up with my PT exercises.

Cilantro is a no-go for me; but I ended up adding some red wine vinegar to it this morning and it helped a lot.

Just a long walk over lunch today. My girls and I are getting to bed later because they have cheer until 8 and I don't feel like I have enough time to wind down...so I stay up later. It's a vicious circle.
B: Dried coconut and a cookies and cream Hershey's bar L: Quinoa burrito bowl and dressing Snack: Cucumber D: Cauliflower crust avocado toast

How is it only Tuesday?! I got in 4 miles in 90 degree heat. Oof. Felt good to get a few miles in though.
I'm loving the summer veggies too. Planning on grilled eggplant and zucchini with sliced tomato tonight– all from our CSA.

Got my new rower (at last!) today. It’s beautiful, very excited about it! But then I did my calibration row and my feet kept sliding out of the straps. I went to the Facebook group and it seems loosening straps is common, but the advice people were giving to fix it seemed physically impossible. I finally worked out the issue when I saw pictures of someone else’s and realized there are meant to be footbeds to rest your heels in.
All that time and money and they still didn’t put it together correctly 🙄 Should have opted to assemble the thing myself.

I'm ready for bed.

I did a 10 min warmup ride on the bike and then the 20 min FB workout from HCOTF today. Holy hell, my arms are still on fire. I'm pretty sure they'll be very sore noodles tomorrow.
I printed out calendars for the next two months and I've scheduled out my half training. I still haven't officially signed up and I'm really on the fence about whether I really want to run it, but I'm going to get started with the regular runs and see how I feel once I'm doing it consistently again. I liked the structure and the accomplishment of the long runs a lot in the spring, so I'm expecting I'll be all in once I get underway.
