Does everyone call it tupperware? I know it's a brand but branding works.
Anyway.
Is there anyone on the planet who doesn't have a disaster of a storage container cabinet? I hate hate hate hate it but we use it all so much and it's endlessly frustrating.
Some one teach me the right way.

Same here. I just try to stick with one group. My food prep containers fit all together neatly.
I have a problem with water bottles.

I'm probably missing about 7 containers and lids that are currently in the fridge, but this is my food container drawer. I got rid of all of my plastic stuff and replaced it with glass via Christmas presents last year, partly just so I could keep it tidier. I can't keep it neat in a cupboard, I have better success with a drawer. Everything stacks into each other pretty decently. There's a round stack, 2 rectangular stacks, and a square stack. And a container for all the lids.

Yes, it's just Tupperware. And also Kleenex and qtip. Is storage of these a problem? What exactly is the issue?

My drawer looks like milano's. Except I have plastic. And my lids are in the drawer above. ( sarenu my water bottles and oversized Tupperware are in the drawer below.)

I've found that keeping it simple with containers that are the same type that stack nicely is the key. I have a few glass ones but most of mine are the rubbermaid ones that have lids that stack together, so it is easy to just keep them stacked by size. I store mine on one of my corner lazy susans which is currently a bummer, but I plan to eventually move them to the drawers where the kid dishes live right now.

We use our rotating corner cabinet for this, which gives us good access to the whole thing. We have almost all glass, but same idea that all of our containers stack together. Then we keep all of our lids on their side in a sacrificial container file folder style, so it's really easy to grab the right one.

I'm team milano. Only glass that stacks well. The tops are on their side lined up in a plastic container.

I have exactly zero plastic storage containers that are made by Tupperware, but they are all Tupperware. And my tupperware cabinet is one with a pull-out drawer shelf. And it's still a jumble of lids and containers, some of which match. Doesn't help that Nugget gets into that drawer and plays with it.

We use the easy find lids. Everything stacks together neatly and it's easy to find a lid. I keep them in one of our awkward cabinets because we rarely use them.

I can't have all one kind. I have both glass and plastic. I prefer the chaos.

The only time Tupperware was somewhat organized was when I was living in an old house with several roommates and we had deep drawers in the kitchen cabinet. One drawer held containers and the other held lids. Now I have chaos in a lower cabinet with a shelf. I keep the food processor on the shelf, and then a random mix of glass containers, plastic containers, lids, and onions on the bottom. I also have various lids hidden around my home, just for fun.
