Hello hello!
I am looking for pocket diaper recommendations. I’m due in October with my third baby and have bumgenius 4.0 and 5.0 pockets, but they’re on their last legs. I have flats, prefolds and covers to use for when baby’s still small, but I like the ease of throwing a pocket on. I stuff them with flats and FST and never used the inserts provided.
I feel really out of the loop with what’s good quality now. They’ve all gone up in price as well so I’m nervous to invest too much.
Any help is appreciated, thanks for your time.

I loved Kawaii pockets stuffed with flats. They’re cheap, cute, and you can order them without inserts. With bamboo flats they were un-leakable.

babybean when you say they are on their last legs do you mean the elastics? They can be fairly easily replaced by someone familiar with the process. For inexpensive pockets I liked imagine and k Nickis.

Blueberry and Nicki's are my faves. They fit well on both my chicken legged DD and turkey legged DS. I also cant knock Alva. I know they are cheap but they've held up really well.

babybean when you say they are on their last legs do you mean the elastics? They can be fairly easily replaced by someone familiar with the process. For inexpensive pockets I liked imagine and k Nickis. The elastics are a bit worn (my three year old still wears them okay but I worry about a baby in them) and the PUL looks a bit stressed in some areas. I can do basic sewing but don’t have the mental energy to repair all of the elastics myself. I live rural so there aren’t any options to really bring them anywhere either. I just want something easy and reliable so I can juggle transition to having four kids with more ease. charlotte that is a very kind offer. I would take you up on that. Which brands are you looking to part with? ETA: I’m in Canada so we don’t have the same availability it seems for different brands. I had to ship to a friend and have them send my diapers when I ordered GMD’s 6 years ago lol.

I'm in NB - applecheeks are very popular here and sold in stores, although I've never personally bought them myself. I used kawaii and bumgenius, both of which are pretty easy to get. Unfortunately shipping them from the states I find is prohibitively costy, so I've only done a couple that were super special (I have a Nikki's, some softbums that I got on special, and one of the girls here sent me one)

I know of a few Canadians who loved buttons diapers but I’m not sure if they were just AI2s or had pockets too.

Kawaii is a Canadian company, and they were my pocket go-to for DC.
