MH wanted to eat out to celebrate my gainful employment so I’m waiting on my steak. 😋 I may even get dessert. That cheesecake is calling my name.

We had a really fun day. Started out getting my workout done early and then got the rat cage cleaned. Just I was just barely out of the shower when some friends we hadn't seen in a while were in the neighborhood and stopped by. It was really nice seeing them and the girls played IRL Among Us. I was killed.
Then we went to a local farm and got a lot of goodies including amazing apple cider. I walked doggo and started a new book. The girls played with the neighbors for hours.
I made fajita salad for dinner and it was delicious and easy. Now I want to sit and space out.

My sister re-did her entire yard, so we cycled over there to take a look and took the scenic road back, because baby girl fell asleep after five minutes in the cargo. Visited my in-laws (hadn’t seen them in a while) & am currently snuggling a sleeping baby. She was a bit overtired after all the adventures and wouldn’t fall asleep in her creep, so mom-mattress it is. I wish they’d always fall asleep on me, not al the time, just every now and then  . We need to figure out dinner, because ik not in the mood for the meal I had planned for today… |

Yesterday was nice but today it's supposed to pour all day. The last day of rain like this for a while falls on the day I rescheduled riding lessons when the girls got rained out. 🙄 I've got rain gear ready for them.
We probably won't go out much due to the weather. It will be a movie and puzzle day.

Good morning.
We all slept in late. Not sure what time the boys were up. When we got up they were in their room watching Lost in Oz. They love that show. I downloaded two episodes for the car last week and they’ve been hooked ever since.
Only thing we have planned is going to a new park. It’s a small state park here in our city. So just a lot of walking/biking with the boys.

Confession that I got really hooked on Lost in Oz but last I checked (maybe since then they've added new episodes) they left the story hanging and I was so disappointed. Second confession, at first I read that as lahdeedah's kids watching Lost, and I thought that's a little grown up, and Oz, and I thought wow that's extreme before my brain woke up. 😆 |

Oh my lord. the European soccer championship just started. Everyone over here wears orange. The streets are lined with orange banners. Stupid songs are being sung. I hate soccer. And orange. And stupid Dutch songs.  |

Hey. I had a great time yesterday, even got a little buzzed on my high noons. Last night Dh took the big girls across the street to watch cruella and I stayed home to put V to bed. We had a lazy morning and I am now at work until 10.
I have $50 old navy super cash if anyone wants it/could use it.

I’ve seen lost but never Oz. I don’t know what season they are on now or even how many seasons they have, but I remember hearing it was a good show and they needed something new to watch. |

Oz is very graphic and disturbing. My parents had no clue I watched it in HS. I don't even know if I feel grown enough now for it. 😂 It has half the L&O cast...but in VERY different roles. Evil Stabler.

It's so hot here! We went to Grandpa's Garden this morning to give him some flowers. Then we trudged around the zoo sweating.
We just got back to the hotel from visiting my aunt who apparently just got out of the hospital last night from an unplanned heart surgery. She went in for a scope and ended up needing an emergency stent. She looked good today, though.
Now I would like to just lay around the hotel, but we may end up going and visiting my cousin this evening...depending on what time she decides to text.

We had a class get together put on by some parents at a park today. It was nice to meet all the kids and parents finally. C has a really great group of friends. I really had no idea since we aren’t able to do school activities.
Yesterday was supposed to be super busy but the weather cancelled everything so now we are waiting on a couple of things to be rescheduled, which is putting the week up in the air a bit. The one solid is that I return to the office tomorrow 😩 I’m a mix of excited and not at all! It’s only two days a week until August so I can’t complain but it’s going to be weird. The amount of prep I did today to pack was unreal. I also realized I have no spring/summer work appropriate tops. I’ll have to get on that. I hate that everything out there is poof, peasant, and ruffle. Not my style at all.

Spring and Fall is when I usually shop there so it's not too crazy. Summer tends to get a little skimpy sometimes |
