Share with us how you're feeling, any concerns? I really need people to stop sharing articles and stories about maternal mortality in this country (not here, but other sites) because it's freaking me out a bit. I know, I know, just don't read them, but I can't look away. Anyway, I'm glad I see the MFM weekly now, because she helps a lot to make me feel better.
Appt. update this week. What type of appt? OB, NST/BPP and GD Log review
How was it? Everything was fine. OB appt was quick. NST/BPP went well. My log and blood sugars look good. I lost some weight, which I guess is to be expected, but I know they don't want me losing more.
Any feels/vents/etc? Still anxious about the unknown, but happy for each week that passes.
Learn anything new? If I have an emergency, even if it's not baby related I'm suppose to go to L&D and NOT the emergency room. The MFM told me that a lot of times things can be affecting the pregnancy, but the ER is trained to treat the symptoms, and not necessarily draw conclusions about what could be baby related and what isn't, so sometimes things are missed. Her exact words were, "I don't care if you lose your foot. You go to L&D and NOT the ER.
Next appointment? 7/28 - NST/BPP

mkrupar - no kidding with the maternal mortality articles lately! Both stats and real life stories - I've read about more women dying in childbirth this last month than my entire 37 years before! Ugh. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How was it? Great! I love the doctor I had for this appointment, she is really funny. Got my Rhogam shot.
Any feels/vents/etc? Talked alot about VBAC and she sent in the request to schedule a repeat C-section just in case I don't go into labor on my own. This gave me a lot of anxiety, probably because I don't want a 2nd c-section. I am giving baby girl a pep talk everyday and just hoping that she decides to come on her own. They will not induce a VBAC but they can augment if I am dilated at all so fingers crossed.
Learn anything new? I PASSED the 1 hour glucose test!!! Measuring spot on at 27 weeks, baby was head down with her butt near my right ribcage.
Next appointment? August 17th- routine OB and tDAP.

Share with us how you're feeling, any concerns? No concerns. Feeling ok in general, I just feel like I'm 9 months pregnant already and I can't imagine how I'll actually feel at the end. Appt. update this week. What type of appt? MFM for ultrasound tomorrow, OB and glucose test on Friday. TDap, too, I think. Both appointments were good, especially the ultrasound. Just waiting for the glucose results. Any feels/vents/etc? Can't believe how fast things are going now. I'm not ready! Learn anything new?

All of these shots posts. I'm a big baby when it comes to injections in my arm, no idea why.
I'm an IVF mom. I did 2 rounds of IVF. 1 FET. I did all of my own injections, including the PIO for both pregnancies.
But you come at my arm, and all of a sudden that needle looks huuuge.

Share with us how you're feeling, any concerns? Just large and in charge. I haven't gained a ton but man I feel like I lugging around a suitcase of bricks.
Appt. update this week. What type of appt? I had my 1 hour glucose and a regular midwife check.
How was it? Fine fine. I'm salty because I already had to do the 1 hour month ago because of fam history. I'm really hoping I pass again. Midwife was fine, all checked out normal, measured ok, TDaP shot.
Any feels/vents/etc? Just...hot. it's been 90+ for like the last 2 weeks.
Learn anything new? Newp.
Next appointment? 2 weeks! We never got to the 2 week appts with DS because by now I think we were at the MFM twice weekly. So...this is new. H was like, what? 2 weeks? Is that normal? Lol yuuup.

So now I need to do the 3 hour. ðŸ˜

thechickencoop - well, you'll definitely pass the 3hr with numbers like that. I only needed <180 after first hour. The three hour was actually kind of relaxing - 3hrs with my book and no interruptions. Maybe that's just me and spending 24/7 with my two little guys. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sorry thechickencoop.  I failed the one hour with a 175(!). However, I passed the three hour. Hoping for the same outcome for you! I sat in an uncomfortable chair with my laptop on my lap and tried to work for 3 hours. It sucked. I'm sorry you have to do it at Labcorp. |
