I think we will wind up triggering in a few days. This has been a really weird cycle for me. Today is day 13 and we're just now seeing follies, and not a bad number of them either. Right now 4 are measuring but they're all on the modest size. I anticipate we'll stim a few more days.
I may be scarce for the next few weeks but always know you can PM me or tag me and I'll come asap!

lemonliz, I hope the move went well and you get settled in quickly. Also, FX those follicles give you some great results! We're heading to my cousin's Bar Mitzvah this weekend. It will be nice to hang out with the extended family for a few days.

AFM: we've decided to stop wasting $ on IUI and are researching IVF clinics now. Right now, it's narrowed down to NC, IN, and AZ clinics. PM me if you've got any intel on clinics in those areas! We've narrowed it down to those based on cost. I can cycle ~2-3 times at one of them for the cost of 1 here so I feel like that makes sense. Maybe I'm just naive though. *shrug* we can have the money to cycle there by November, so I'm thinking for DOR that's a good idea.

lemonliz, I can only imagine how busy you are moving, cycling, and working! Holy heck! How is moving going to affect your cycle? I am rooting so hard for you. Come on, follies. How exciting, amberr. I'm in FL so no help on clinics in those states. I wish clinics would put their IVF pricing on their website. I think my clinic is one of the few that do. Do you plan on meeting with just one RE or several? AFM, today is my last BCP! They are the worst! I start testosterone patches tonight and tomorrow is baseline. Stims starts on 7/22 if all goes well tomorrow. My endometrial biopsy came back normal. My RE sent me to see a radiologists to check the mass that is near my cervix. It has been there a long time, but he just wants to make sure it's not going to interfere with anything. My first RE saw it on my MRI, but couldn't locate it during my surgery. My ultrasound tech Friday was very thorough and took lots of pictures. She was fascinated by my unicornuate ute. I was there for over an hour. I should have those results by Wednesday.

babyhopes my tentative plan is to narrow down to 2 or 3, then schedule phone or Skype consults. So far, I've emailed them and they all will accommodate me being long distance. My goal. (May be laughable to y'all IVF vets) but I've got vacation approved for November with hours I can add to it, and stim and all that on vacation. For my first time, I don't wanna stress about shot times and work. About you: she kept you an HOUR?!?! At least she was thorough! I'm glad you're results came back good!

lemonliz yay for 4! Fx for some great growth over the next few days! I'm exhausted just thinking about everything you have on your plate right now. bonzo enjoy! @amber I'm in CT, so I don't have input. GL as you narrow your search! babyhopes bye bye BCP! Yay!!! AFM, AF can Friday, BCP started Saturday, and I had b/w today. My nurse forgot she told me to start BCP on Day 2, so she called to tell me my estrogen was too high and was worried. Thank goodness it was the pill, but I wish she'd crack a chart before calling! She confirmed PGS results take 10-14 days, not 7-10 like the other RE said, so I'm bummed about a longer wait. If results aren't in by Friday, we probably won't hear anything all weekend. 😕

amberr, I'm going to message you about NC! I asked around on TCF when we found out we were definitely moving so I have some info about clinics there. birch113, that's so long! Another 2WW. Hey, hopefully it's the last awful one before your penultimate 2WW!! dp21, BIG hugs. I feel that way a lot. And you never know about grading. These could be perfectly healthy! babyhopes, I'm super excited for your stim! Go Team All the Eggs!! And I have found a little bit of relief in knowing I won't transfer for a while, so hopefully you do too. It is weird though. I have completely divorced the process of IVF from the intended outcome, if that makes sense. I no longer think about getting KU. I just think about the process of getting eggs. Making embryos. And then stop.

Yay for growing follies, lemonliz!! FX they continue to grow and you end up with a good number amberr - I'm sorry you have to move on to IVF. Best of luck in choosing a clinic! babyhopes - So glad you get to start stimming soon! FX for great numbers! birch113 - Gotta love when a nurse gives you a scare, eh? I've had a couple times when a nurse calls from the clinic and missed something on my chart and scares the soul out of me that I'm doing something wrong. So many hugs to you, dp21. I've got everything crossed for a miracle for you. AFM: I'm going in for my repeat SHG today, so we should be good to go for another round of IVF next cycle as long as everything looks good (which we expect it to). I think this will be our last round of IVF (plus whatever FETs we can get from it, if we are lucky enough to). I go between having all the anxiety over it to feeling oddly at peace with it.

lemonliz, I have everything crossed for you amberr, Good luck finding a clinic. You can try checking out fertility IQ for reviews. It's pretty new so there may or may not be reviews for your clinics. babyhopes, yikes cycling soon!!! specter, ugh, I had pits in my stomach with this cycle being our last covered round under insurance. I can't imagine the emotions of putting "last cycle" on a cycle and whatever happens. I'll be crossing everything for you. birch113, WOOT WOOT!!!!!!! Yes, bring on FET AFM, started PIO today to prep for transfer.

Hey guys! I'll update here in a little bit but right now, one of our friends needs us.
*tws*
Fishchicks is a 2x grad from the DOR check-in but sadly she's not had any THB yet. She lost her twins last fall at 18 weeks. She's currently around 20 weeks and she's been hospitalized again for pprom and could potentially lose another baby girl. I'm just devastated for her.
A few of us are going to try to organize a sunshine fund and send her some flowers and gifts for her hospital stay. We pray she stays pregnant but that also means that she has a very long hospital stay ahead of her.
If you're interested in donating to the sunshine fund, PM me! Or you can PayPal robinbecker@gmail.com. Just a few dollars. Nothing huge. We just want fishchicks to know we're thinking of her and her baby.

Okay, so as for me, we ended up with 5R yesterday but only 1M! And then in a twist of events, the nurse emailed me today to say that one extra egg matured in the lab on its own when they were prepping for PICSI. So as of this morning we have 2 embryos!
We're hopefully going to keep banking. I'm delighted with 2 but with our odds we need about 6 frozen (since we're not testing) before prepping for an FET.

Guys you won't believe it! From the 1M that was retrieved, we now have 2 frozen embryos that look perfect! Woohoo!
I have to figure out what to do about insurance now. I think I need a new job because I burned through all of my lifetime max on meds this cycle (nobody told me meds went towards my MEDICAL IF coverage... I'm still cranky about it).

Hi all! I've been lurking hoping for the best for all of you! I'm still not sure what is next for us. We've been thinking about looking into adoption but after the last 4 years of IF, it seems exhausting.

Congrats on being PUPO, dp21. That totally sucks about the med coverage, lemonliz. You would think that is something they'd tell you! Shaking my fist at your insurance company. Hi lillee!! Hope you and YH find peace with whatever decision you make. So many hugs, friend. 💕 AFM, day 3 of stims and I have my first check tomorrow. Hoping my ovaries aren't being lazy asses. Have my MRI scheduled on August 1st. Not sure if that's too close to ER so I'm going to see if I can schedule something sooner elsewhere. My RE found a mass near my cervix so he wants to look into it. It's been there for a long time. My first RE saw it during my 1st MRI but they couldn't locate it during my surgery. So annoying. Hopefully it's nothing and we can move forward with our transfer.

I had baseline this morning and, despite a heavy period (period started 7/14, BCP started 7/15-7/22) my lining is 7.3. If I don't get a bleed before Wednesday, I'll have to delay starting Estrace.
Has this every happened to anyone? I can't imagine why/how my lining is so thick still.

I bring sad news today.
**ALL THE TW**
Our friend fishchicks gave birth to a little girl yesterday just 18 days short of viability. She was a tiny fighter and lived for an hour. Fishchicks got to hold her until she passed away. She is devastated.
They named her Quinn and she rests now with her 2 sisters.
Our sunshine mission has become imperative now as we need to send our love and support. If you'd like to donate to the sunshine fund, PM me. There's also a Facebook group called Help for Fishchicks. You can join and not tell us your SN. We are using that group to discuss ideas about how best to support fishchicks right now.

lemonliz, hey, is the embryo matching on TCF still going strong? Or is there a place here? It's something I wanted to start to look into as our back up as we try to figure out where we will go from here if this cycle does not work out. Could I get the password? Thanks

Thanks It isn't, but I can add you to an embryo donation group on FB if you like! It's a large group and it bears mentioning that it's a mixed group (donors and recipients) and that it includes people from all parts of the process, from start to parenting, so there are often triggering threads. But if you want a good starting place, that group has a lot of information.
