Just waking up post nights.
Add me to the big baby club. DS was 8lb 13oz at 40+5. DD was 9lbs 5 oz at 41+2 but she was weighed after she pooped 4 times. she was definitely closer to 10lbs.

DD was totally average at birth, despite us being told she would be big. 7 lb 5 oz, 19.5" at 38+4.
But she soon shot up to the 100th percentile and stayed there. I mentally thank her frequently for waiting to do that until after birth. Lol.

I hope I don't have a big baby since I'm not very big myself. At my a/s she was between 10-50% for everything, so I hope she stays that way! My niece is 6lbs 10oz and that seems like a nice baby size, haha.

DD1 was a small baby (5lbs 14oz at birth) and my vagina is secretly hoping the same for DD2.

Add me to the big baby club. Estimated weight of 15oz at my 20 week scan and measuring a week ahead. DS was only 6 lbs 7oz when he was born (and 2 weeks early) so #2's growth will likely slow down/level off. I've gained less than 10 lbs (currently 24 weeks) but I didn't gain much until 3rd trimester last time. AnnPerkins , how far ahead do you have to be measuring for them to change your due date? I thought it was 2 weeks on a couple scans. At this point they don't generally change due dates no matter what the scans say. Scans are notoriously inaccurate at our point in pregnancy. If you had an early dating US, they will stick with that because early US are very accurate for dates. With DD, they were expecting her to be almost 10 lbs due to their scans. She was 8lb15oz, so still big, but not 10 lbs. I was measuring ahead for half of second tri and all of third tri by 4-6 weeks and that didn't affect anything. I had a growth scan the day before my water broke and they estimated her close to 7lbs. The triage nurse the next day guessed 6lbs just by squeezing my belly in a few places. DD was 6lbs 3oz. Squeeze Nurse was more accurate. Don't get too hung up on late ultrasounds.

My OB even commented about how she was shocked that he even fit inside me!

I'm 5'1" and my husband was 23" at birth. That's like over 1/3 of me.
No, shan't.

DS- are you sure the baby is a girl? Me- yes. DS- can I play with my T-ball with her? Me- yes, when she's bigger. DS- ok.
That sounds like acceptance, right?

Here. Ish.
Baby is doing well and kicking away. After we flew home for vacation we decided to move home. We H's work was all like "sure- work remote- whatever" and then we found a house we like and now we are closing and moving 1000 miles away in like a month. Someone hold me.

AnnPerkins snuff9861 thatgolfbcnfThanks guys! We are excited- it will be nuts going from a 16 story city highrise with 1000 sq ft to a 3000 sq ft house on an acre where the only food delivery is some random pizza joint in town. Crazy sauce. The pups will be happy though. And my Aunt is like 5-10 mins down the road and her son and soon to be wife are almost within walking distance so we've got a TON of family super close and all parents within a 2 hr radius. I will now have people probably fighting about who will stay with DD when I go into labor vs having had pretty much no one here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

GDI why can't my toddler poop before he goes to sleep?! I went to check on him before I got ready for bed and smelled shit before I even opened his door. Blahhhhhh. Thankfully he goes right back to sleep after I change him, but seriously man. Sleeping with a shitty diaper cannot be pleasant esp not one that essentially hot-boxed your room of poop smell.

OMG, DD does the same thing, grumpycat. I don't think she likes pooping so she just holds it all day until she falls asleep and can't any more. I need her to stop. She absolutely will not poop on the potty.

grumpycat and misskilljoy, we've had issues with DS and pooping since we started potty training. He just straight up hates doing it and will hold it in for days. And for awhile, he would only go in his pants, he refused to do it on the potty. We made a sticker chart that seemed to speak to him enough that we've only had a couple of #2 accidents since completing it 2 months ago. He earned one sticker for each potty poop. After 5, he was allowed to pick out a special toy from the store. He was telling everyone he met about how many more stickers he needed, what sticker he planned to use next, and how big boys poop on the potty not in their pants. He's about 3.5 and we started general potty training right after he turned 3.

She just doesn't GAF and will poop in her underwear. I don't get it. I don't want to shame her but I want to encourage her. She KNOWS she is supposed to poop in the potty. We say it 5 times a day. So IDK what to do.

I think we will do a sticker chart, that is a good idea.

There seems to be a lot of ladies who make big babies!!
That makes me feel good.
DS was 9lb 10oz (40+2) and DD was measuring 12oz at 19 weeks, already over average. But DS was 1lb 9oz at the 20 week scan so I'm REALLY hoping that she isn't as big as her brother.
I've got a private 3D scan at 27 weeks, so can't wait to see her weight etc then. My growth scan is at 34 weeks, then we are deciding if I need inducing down to her weight or to let me go to 40 weeks and then induce. I'm not really bothered just as long as she isn't like over 10 pounds, because that's just a big fat nope. If I can naturally birth a 9lb 10oz baby I can do anything under that... anything over scares me!!

H's birthday yesterday so wasn't around, we had a great day. Presents in the morning where DS was really excited to help H open them, we then done some gardening, and then my parents had DS so we went our for tea and watched a movie at the cinema.
And of course we watched GOT when we got back

misskilljoy AnnPerkins thatgolfb We've only done some potty training with DS ... like he still wears diapers all the time and we ask him if he needs to go pee/poop. Occasionally he will poop in the morning before his nap, but he usually wakes up from his nap with a poopy diaper. DH thinks that he just doesn't like slowing down and going so it only happens when he's relaxed and falling asleep. I know some kids actually are afraid to poop in the toilet. I hope our kids figure out their poo issues soon.
