Yawn. It's my morning to wake up with the kids so of course they woke a full hour earlier that yesterday. Also mh didn't take the trash to the road last night and we missed it last week so it really needed to happen today. I think I got it out early enough but I'm not sure.
Today is going to the sprint store and trying not to get screwed on a new phone and then taking my mom to the doctor at 4.
What is everyone else up to?

Why hello grumpy toddler! I see today is off to a swell start. I've already been puked on by the baby, post shower and straight down my front. It can only go up from here!
It's a circle time and errand day. Nothing too exciting.

I binge watched Anne with an E this weekend. I liked it. A lot of people didn't because they changed parts of the story and made it more dark. I liked the books when I read them as a kid but am not a hardcore fan so I didn't mind the changes.

I stayed up later than I usually do to watch GoT, then B had an unusually bad night of sleep. I think he's teething, or leaping, or whatever. He's been a bit crankier than usual. He decided to be up for the day at like 4:30... so that was lovely.

Also, GoT thoughts ahead. Spoilers obv. -HOLY Arya! At first I was confused about why Frey was alive, but then I realized what was happening and was all - yeah badass Arya!. I suppose I was a little disappointed that she's going South instead of North for a potential reunion with Jon/Sansa. -Sansa Stark, or Sansa Snark??? LOL "I'll assume it was something clever" -Who knew the Hound could be sorta endearing? His character has grown so much. -Danny on Westeros! -Least favorite scene may have been the Sam update. His "ah-ha! I must tell Jon" moment felt too contrived.

meeggaannw, that baby box looks interesting, do you so the beauty one too? I had a horrible day yesterday, I would call it a breakdown I guess. My toddler has some behavior stuff she deals with that is becoming clear isn't a phase and after several challenging days, coupled with not enough sleep for me because of wake ups with the baby, I just lost it. My husband took the toddler to the playground and left me alone but I feel terrible that I was crying and couldn't pull it together. Being a parent is hard.

ellabee, would it take me years to try and start watching GOT now? They're on season 7, so it would be a big chunk of time to get all caught up....but it's worth it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

ellabee, that's rough. I hope you get a nap in. Lakes, up from here! neekoneeko, big, big hugs. I'm sorry. You'll find the strength you need to get through it. ❤also, you are not alone. I have never watched a single episode of GoT My fb had a baby explosion this week. 3 newborns in a week. One of them asked me to take pictures for them weds so that will be fun. I think I'll start building a small portfolio and see if (in my spare time, ha!) I can break into the baby photo game solo. I loved it when I worked for a company, but that was at schools without parents around. [Edited because re-reading my initial post made me sound ridiculous. ]

Or down pibblemom, down into my pocket. Which is where this round of spit up ended up. Girl has some aim. 😂 But now both are napping so onwards!

neekoneeko I'm sorry your stressed and hope you can get a break. I enjoyed the first couple seasons of GoT but then it got too extra for me. Plus I was pregnant/had a newborn so I really wasn't handling extra well.

M had her 6 month appt today and earned herself a weight check in 6 weeks 😞She's 13.4 pounds and has fallen below the 10th percentile but is getting higher on the height growth curve. The dr said not to change anything between now and then other than adding solids so hopefully it's nothing since she didn't seem too worried. neekoneeko those toddlers are tough and I know I've had many days where I'm not proud of how I handle it. I do find that I grow through phases of how much I can take and some days I just don't have the patience. That's definitely time to pass them off to my H so I'm glad to hear yours stepped up and gave you some alone time.

I'm curious, since so many are at or near 2u2, are you still happy with your spacing? In a perfect world, would you have waited til closer to 2u3?
I'm still not sure I'm not OAD, but if we did decide on a 2nd, we might start trying around C's 1st Birthday. It took me a long time to get KU so of course that's a factor too. We will likely not try for more than 2 because AMA.

We will likely not try for more than 2 because AMA. My girls are exactly two years apart, I think in the long run I will enjoy the spacing but I feel like right now it's a little challenging. If my older one was closer to 3 I definitely think things would be easier since she would be more self sufficient. We suffered from infertility and losses so when she turned one we thought we'd have a long path ahead of us if it was even going to happen so we just went for it. 4 months later (a miscarriage at 3 months) we were pregnant so be careful it isn't always the same the second time.

pibblemom I am still really happy with our spacing (18 months apart). DS doesn't remember life without his sister and there was zero adjustment period for him. It is hard having two babies at once essentially but I think no matter when you add to your family, it's going to be hard. I love seeing their relationship grow and love that as they get bigger they will be able to do the same things at similar times (I.e. Going to Disney, hiking, starting school...I like that when DS is big enough to try new things, M won't be far behind). That being said, I totally get that it's not for everybody!

pibblemom overall I love it. I think ds was 21 months when dd was born. I like that he won't remember being an only child. I like that we weren't out of the baby stage and use to an older kid. Mh's big thing was once he was done with the baby stage, he wasn't going back. Honestly, two in diapers isn't as bad as people say. I think it will be awesome when they're older and hope they're close. I totally felt guilty in the beginning though. It felt like we were dropping such a bomb on his little life and he didn't fully understand what was happening. An older kid might "get" it more or be more helpful, independent, etc. Or express his current jealousy over her touching his toys better. I felt guilty about not focusing on him 100% like I had been doing but I guess that happens whenever you have a kid.

Hugs carrots. I will sit with you on the anxious peanut bench. Dd's appointment is on the 31st. Now that it's getting closer I'm starting to stress out about her weight again. It doesn't help that she's having a bad spit up day after a couple days of barely any spit up. She looked really happy and healthy in that pic you posted the other day 💙

What does an adult wear to a splash pad? If the answer is swimsuit, mine is at the shore house. Whoops. Hope Grandpop is up for chasing the toddler around tomorrow.
