How are the babes doing?
G is the same size now at 5 months that DD was at 9 months! He’s finally rolling over and we’ve started some solids, but slowly. He’s surprisingly shown very little interest so far so I’m not pushing it much.

DD is 4 months; where has the time gone?! She still wants to be held 24/7. Some days she's ok with a few minutes on her play mat, but that's rare. Man she's high maintenance Looking back at pictures of DS at this age, I'm shocked at how active we were. He was so easy going! I'm going to buy an activity center. Any recs for one? Skip Hop looks like it has a smaller profile than others, so I'm leaning towards that one. katespade, what solids have you tried so far? I'm excited to try food with her!

We’ve tried: -baby oatmeal (HATED) -Japanese sweet potato (hated but to be fair it smelled like play doh to me) -butternut squash (didn’t totally hate) -apple sweet potato (LOVED) -banana (hated the first time, loved the second) -a blend of carrots I made myself with purple, white, yellow, and orange carrots (truly hated with all of his existence 😂) Our pedi gave us the green light at 4m and I’ve just slowly given him stuff. I’m not pushing it or making it a daily thing right now. I’ll probably do more next month.

Hi everyone! W is 4mo old today and I’m very 😭 It’s just going by so quickly. I’m not surprised but still a little sad.
He started up fussing while nursing again so we went back to 4x daily oral exercises and 2 bottles a day. I really do not like pumping and my end goal is still nursing exclusively with no bottles, not having to pump. He’s improved again and my scale says he’s gained 2lb 7.3oz in one month! He is 14lb 11oz now. Still in the 20 something percentile but he’s made huge gains in the last two months. Pedi appt on Monday and I expect that she will be thrilled.
He is rolling over consistently and starting to regress in his overnight sleep. Yay!
