I woke up 10 minutes before we had to go to the bus stop.. oops. Everyone else did to except M was up 10 minutes before me. But they inhaled breakfast, got dressed and I got them to school on time. Now back home so MJ and I can eat something. What's everyone up to today? mwhip do you start your new job today? I can't remember if you were taking a few days off between. |

Morning! Took the day off to do homework since it’s finals and I have to have it done by noon on Sunday. I want to submit everything by Friday so I don’t have worries but unsure if I can get it done.
I have a check in with my advisor today so hopefully I can get some advice on the new school. They can’t find my transcripts and no the my current school and old school said they sent them digitally. So 🤷♀️

Morning. Baby girl is on a nap strike, I got another COVID test (I’ve never ever been a hypochondriac, but men this virus in combination with my anxious disposal is not a good combo), I tried to bake pancakes & failed miserably (what in the world...) and got rained on on my way to school.
Today is not my day to say the least 😂.
Eta the test was negative, otherwise I would not have picked up the kids from school, don’t worry.
Eta 2 I would have send someone else to pick them up, it reads as if I wold have just left my kids at school 😂.

This will be a pointless week here at the office. All but 2 of the attorneys are out on vacation. I'm annoyed that I'm here, but whatever, I have Friday off at least.
I'm currently actively hitting refresh to try and help my coworker get a vaccine.

I just booked our hotel for NYC in August! It’s going to be sweltering but that is the week C goes to Grammy camp. It will also be right after our 15th anniversary so I splurged a little on the hotel. I can’t wait! I miss the city so much!

I'm so bored here. 1 of the attorneys keeps making speaker calls. It's annoying AF. He didn't used to do this at the old office and I've told him that it is loud and the noise travels here. He doesn't GAF. I think he just wants everyone to know how "important" he is. *major eye roll*

We got back from vacation yesterday and we’re happy to see the snow had all melted while we were gone. And now we’re in a winter storm warning and expected to get 6” today. Not cool. Vacation plus DST took a toll on everyone and I had to drag all 3 kids out of bed this morning. It is very much a Monday.
Now I’m just trying to motivate myself to get my workout in. I’m just telling myself to get it done and I might have time for a quick nap before L wakes up.

Hi.
We had a busy day of seeing some rental options and a school. I am in decision paralysis right now because I don’t know if we should just rent something or wait to see if a house we want comes on the market. I don’t want to be pressured into something or competing for a house that is at the top or slightly above the budget I set. 😔
I don’t want to adult anymore today.

One week back at school and the cases are climbing already. My city announced 19 new deaths today (said they were unreported between January and now). I need to make it 8 more days to my second dose without being quarantined. It feels like it’s 100 days away. My sister’s group has booked 2,000 for vaccines
Today was 1 year since my niece’s wedding which was our last night out for the past year.

Hi! Still doing homework. Finished 9 out of the 10 entries for my final paper. Entry 10 has 2 parts and I’m on the 2nd part. I found I skips a part of my PowerPoint last night so I will need to go back to that later. Ladies the end is in sight. I can’t wait for this class to be over with.

I ended up leaving work early. The only attorney left at 3:30, so I left a few minutes later.
I went inside the grocery store to grab a few things and proceeded to have an anxiety attack. I was able to get through the store pretty quickly and get home, but once home it took a good hour to stop shaking.
I'm so used to curbside, being so close to so many people really effed with my head. Joy.

peachsmama I did start the new job yesterday. It was good, overwhelming information overload, but good. Everyone seems very nice and welcoming, the lady training me has been there since 1989, so she's a huge wealth of knowledge and very helpful.
