I'm having a mammogram on Tuesday. DD still nurses once a day. Am I going to shoot milk out all over . the place? I need to know what level embarassment awaits me.

I've not had a mammogram before, but I would assume there will be some leakage. Tell the tech you're still nursing, and what will be will be!
I'd assume it wouldn't be much, maybe hand express a tiny bit before if you're really worried about it...but this would be NBD for me. I wouldn't think you'd be shooting out ounces or anything lol.

DS still nurses many times a day and I can barely hand express anything anymore.
Just be up front with them, you can't be the only woman they've ever seen while still nursing.
If they give you shit, squirt milk in their eye. Pew, pew.

no personal experience with this, but +2 just tell the tech you are nursing-- i'm sure they've dealt with it before. the radiologist will need to know anyway in order to be able to interpret the mammogram correctly. googling also suggests that you either bring your LO and nurse right before or pump right before- it makes it easier to read the mammogram if there is less milk in your breast.

During a mammogram, they squash your boob like a pancake, so there will definitely be milk, probably even if you nurse/pump right before.
