Morning. Quiet day today. I went to the store today to pick up nice chocolate bars. My granddad always wanted chocolate, I’ve bought him so much over the years and figured it would be nice to put a chocolate bar on his coffin in stead of a flower tomorrow (we also got him a huge flower arrangement don’t worry). Kids are home because my parents are at my grandma.

I got all my weights done before it was time to leave for the bus. Waiting on it now. Then taking J to school and home to hopefully run on the treadmill. My mom called me and said she needed to go to the emergency room because she's having chest pains. I told her to call 911. She won't. I snapped at her. She always does this, claims she thinks she's dying and when you suggest a solution, like a doctor! She backs off and wants to wait it out. I swear it's for attention and I have 3 kids. I have no attention to spare right now. If she's actually hurting or having chest pains, go to the doctor. But I get so tired of the dramatics.

I realize I sound like a bitch. But our family tree is a branch. We have a habit of dying young. Both of her sisters died at 38. Mom has made it to 51. If you're having chest pains, call 911. Let's not tempt fate.

It's beautiful here again today and I only need to work until noon. I got the schedule for flag football and little league and it is going to be a hectic few months of practices and games. I don't know how people with multiple kids in many things do this (looking at you kim22!). Luckily we will be working from home until late June/July at a minimum so at least it makes things easier. Aside from leaving work early its SSDD here. |

Oh, I do have a question for those with allergies or kids with allergies.
C's cough/sneeze is still here and even worse since he is outside more. He uses generic Flonase once a day and one pill a day of Zyrtec. I am wondering if I should try another allergy med instead of the Zyrtec. Recommendations? Claritin hasnt helped much in the past so I was looking at Zyzal or Allegra maybe?

Cadence still hasn't cleaned up all her shit that is scattered about the house. I told her if any of her stuff is still out while she's at Grandma's next week, then it goes in the Goodwill box. Morning! Binge watching The Crown today. I need to take Evie for blood work after school. Her rheumatologist wants us to switch to injection of her meds instead of drinking it, so tonight should be a shit show.
I had a crazy dream about my 1st day at my new job so I know I'll sleep like crap all weekend.

Just dropped her at the emergency room, I'm not allowed in. I didn't give her a choice. She couldn't even talk on the drive because of the chest pains. So now I wait for updates..

Also team Zyrtec or Allegra but not Claritan. I've had to bounce back and forth between Zyrtec and Allegra over the years because one will work for me for a while then it becomes less effective.
Allergies are a bitch this year.

I think I need to switch to Allegra, cause my allergies have been insane since moving offices. There are cedar trees all over the place here and they are slowly killing me.

Hoping for a slow day at work so I can finish a report and get done early. It's been beautiful lately and I want to take doggo on a longer bike ride/walk.
Yesterday I would have finished about an hour early if not for my computer being such a slow POS it can't even handle scrolling through a PDF file.

I'm leaving early today for H's articulation assessment. It will be at M's school so that's convenient. I think we're going to watch Tom & Jerry for movie night tonight.

She told me to leave. They did an ekg and blood work and will treat her pain and do it again in 2 hours.

Oh well for some reason it won't let me post a pic. But it was awful. He literally looked like the kid from that movie mask. took 2 days to get back to normal. But every picture from that month or so he just looks so swollen

I have a vague memory of that jewels! Poor little dude. When my allergies are really bad my eyes will have like a skin on them. It's so disgusting. And of course be so red I look mega stoned. I swell up from random bug bites. |
