Anyone ever take the clearblue advanced ovulation tests? For all the years I've TTC I have used wondfo or easy@home cheapies. I always get a strong peak on the cheap ones around CD10. However, I tried clearblue advanced opk this cycle and it's only CD7 and it gave me a high blinking smiley. But I took a cheap one and it's super low. Is this typical?

radiantfate also late (hi!), but FUCK THOSE DOCTORS. Your weight is one small component of your fertility and fat people get pregnant ALLTHEGODDAMNTIME. With your HSG and SA results, a competent RE would be able to start some preliminary work with you. Your fat is NOT your downfall. Full stop. Doctors that cannot or will not practice their medicine on fat people do not deserve their license. Healthcare is not just for the thin. Rama THANK YOU. Exactly how I feel. Unfortunately that's most doctors, at least in my experience. Like oh, broken toe? Lose weight. Have a cold? Lose weight. So frustrating.

catlady22 is that the one with three faces or two? My OB recommended I use clearblue for ovulation testing but specifically said not to use the one with three faces. She said that they can sometimes be too sensitive (especially if you have PCOS) and become confusing. Not sure if any of that applies to you specifically but thought I would mention it.

I've had issues with the Clearblue ones. The cheapies reliably give me a high O line around day 17-18 - the Clearblue started giving me a high O non-blinky face on day 12, and then it never gave me a high blinking smiley.

Three I guess, circle, blinking smiley, solid smiley. I got circle of CD6 then blinking on CD7 & CD8. I don't have PCOS, usually pretty consistent cycle of 27/28 days and ovulate around CD10/11. I think maybe its going to blink until CD10.

This is good to know. I won't read to much into the results then.

But there are doctors out there that aren't brainwashed by BMI and know that fat isn't the end-all-be-all. All I can do is encourage you to keep looking, if/when you're ready to pursue treatment. It took us... a lot of trial and error. And I won't regale you with the stories my SIL has of providers that handwaved her. You already know how they go anyhow. 🙄 Hugs. Good luck.
