This is a combined TTC thread for EVERYONE currently TTC. Whether you're a first timer, a many timer, or an old timer come on in and pass the time as we struggle through WTO and the dreaded TWW.
As this is a combined thread there will be talk of LC, losses, and IF struggles. If any of these are hard for you please just let us know in your first post and I'm sure the lovely ladies on here will be happy to add TWs to accommodate.

Month/Cycle: 4 AL
CD/DPO: CD9
Symptoms: n/a
RRCS: we meet with our new fertility clinic tomorrow for a virtual consult. Our karyotype tests aren’t back yet, my hysteroscopy isn’t until the 10th, and H got called back for a second semen analysis. They want to check for sperm antibodies. We wanted everything done before this appt but I guess we will see what they say tomorrow. Has anyone done a hysteroscopy? My OB agreed to give me one, but I had no idea they put you under for it (here anyway). I had my pre-surgery check at the hospital Friday and I’m good to go.
GTKY: What is the best vacation you've taken? Aruba! I can’t wait to go back someday.

Month/Cycle: 14 (first on Femara)
Timing: n/a
CD/DPO: cd7
RRCS: I was feeling really down last month and couldn't find it in me to post. There is just something so defeating about going over the one year mark. 🤞For this cycle. I started Femara so hopefully I can at least ovulate.
GTKY: What is the best vacation you've taken? This is a hard one. Our honeymoon was in Paris and was awesome, but I feel like that's different from a regular vacation. Probably when we went to Eureka Springs AK it was so peaceful and pretty.

Hugs ambiguousmango I hope this cycle on femara works in helping you ovulate and yields results. Those date milestones always suck.

We are taking a break this month and probably next month, too. I had an appointment with a different doctor that I like more last week, and we will switch up my meds and continue doing IUIs for at least a couple more cycles. We are also going to redo the HSG (ugh) but she said she'd prescribe me valium to take beforehand so it's not so bad.
On the bright side, the break has aligned with me getting my covid vaccine, so I don't have to stress about that anymore. Second dose on March 27th!

After passing that 1 year mark of trying, I think I'm just in the boat where if someone told me any old wives tale worked I would try it. Hence, seed cycling. I'm willing to Guinea pig anyone else's crazy ideas.

BFN on 12dpo. I'm going try seed cycling next cycle. Anybody tried this? Sorry about bfn. I knew I’ve heard about seed cycling before but wasn’t sure until I googled. I didn’t see cycle, but I did incorporate certain seeds into my smoothies while I prepped for my IUI. Something like 3 months before. I did it every cycle. I used flax seed and ate pumpkin seeds with a mix of other raw nuts as a snack. I did eat Brazil nuts though. I ate beets and pomegranate juice. I went full on crazy town with all the foods.

It’s why I went semi aggressive with my RE. Which - hi twins! I’m happy, but I didn’t have money to keep trying every cycle with one tube. So I tried all the foods suggested for fertility everywhere 🙈

Month/Cycle: 4 years, 2 months
Timing: N/A
CD/DPO: CD 1 (?)
Symptoms: N/A
RRCS: Hi everyone. It's been a while! DH and I took a break from TTC, but we're going to be resuming in May. We had one fertility doctor diagnose me with a partial tube blockage and "dark area/defect" in my uterus after an HSG but won't do a hysteroscopy to confirm because of my weight. That same fertility doctor gave both DH and me different numbers for his SA (both poor results, but I was told worse than he was), so we went to get a second opinion. That doctor straight up wouldn't even examine me because of my weight, he looked at the records transferred from the other clinic, told me DH's SA was perfectly normal and the HSG didn't mean anything since I already have a child (my son will be 13 in May), told me "lose weight and you'll get pregnant" and just turned me away. So that left me with more questions than answers and just drained and frustrated. Like, I get it. I'm fat, but I'm otherwise healthy -- no diabetes, heart is healthy, good cholesterol, etc. I have lost some weight since then, just not enough to reach the benchmark those doctors gave me. So anyway, I'll keep working on losing weight, we're going to try again starting in May on our own and if that doesn't work after a few months, get a *third* opinion. I'll be 41 in a couple months and that clock really feels like it's starting to run out.
GTKY: What is the best vacation you've taken? Hands down, our honeymoon. DH's family has a cottage near Cape Cod right near the beach, we stayed there and it was so relaxing. It was 4th of July weekend so we watched the fireworks on the beach, we took a trip to Plymouth, we went to Walden pond. We're moving up to MA at the end of the year (hopefully) which I'm really looking forward to.

radiantfate That's horrible how they treated you. I am so sorry you had to deal with that. To echo others you deserve to be treated with respect and to not have a doctor diminish your concerns. Hopefully you can find someone else that will take you seriously.

The tww is sooooo long but I am feeling optimistic. I did have a really weird dream last night where I found out I was pregnant with triplets. I couldn't decide if that was a nice dream or a bit of a nightmare 😬

radiantfate also late (hi!), but FUCK THOSE DOCTORS. Your weight is one small component of your fertility and fat people get pregnant ALLTHEGODDAMNTIME. With your HSG and SA results, a competent RE would be able to start some preliminary work with you. Your fat is NOT your downfall. Full stop. Doctors that cannot or will not practice their medicine on fat people do not deserve their license. Healthcare is not just for the thin.
