Started off right with going out for breakfast. I got a belgian waffle! I may never go back to pancakes. L had nothing but sausage links...8 of them!
We're finishing up at the pedi's. He has no ear wax. I have audiologist appt but she's referring 2 other drs nearby. I just need them to be available on the 2 days I already have off work.

I skipped breakfast this morning, which is always a bad idea. Swim lessons now, after we're heading to a birthday party. The birthday girl is a month younger than BH, but is teeny tiny. Like half his size. (Her mom is teeny tiny too) It's super cute to see them together.

Like half his size. (Her mom is teeny tiny too) It's super cute to see them together. DS has two slightly older cousins (our nephew is six months older and DH's cousin's little boy is another two months older than the nephew) and because he's huge for his age, he's been the biggest of the three boys for a few months now. It's oddly entertaining to watch them when they're all together.

DS has mostly been in a good mood and I'm hoping that continues because DH is going to be late coming home today. He fell asleep for his nap fairly quickly, so at least I should get a decent break from actual parenting.

I did work this morning while H took the kids grocery shopping. He went golfing and the kids are napping, so I'm laying down. We'll be going to a friend's cottage tomorrow so looking forward to that!

Dh works this weekend so nothing major planned. I feel like I have somewhat mastered this SAH thing. I waiting for the bottom to drop out and to have a super shitty day. I would assume Monday but Dh is off so not likely. Kids behave awesomely swell for Dh.

littlelion Good luck with the audiologist, and that's good you were able to receive recommendations from your doctor. I hope it works out scheduling wise. Yay for Belgian waffles...yum. DH is at IKEA today getting rugs and nursery furniture for the new place we are moving into on Monday. Excited that we were able to get what we wanted - things go out of stock all the time over here. DH also picked out a canopy thing for DS' new big boy bed, and super soft rug for DS' new room. I hope this makes the move more exciting and happy for DS!

We went to a party yesterday afternoon, and got headed home later than I had hoped (6:45). DD fell asleep in the car and then transferred to her crib and slept until 6:30 this morning! It's a miracle! And now she is already down for a nap so I was able to get some laundry started. I'm looking forward to having clean clothes.

Today I learned the hard way that unless I find a place I like that offers childcare through the whole service, church just isn't going to happen until DS is older. I'm thoroughly embarrassed by my kid's behavior today, but sitting quietly for that long is just too much to ask of him right now, so I definitely did it to myself.

Went to a dear friend's bachelorette party yesterday. I was there from 2-8:30pm lol. Pretty sure all of us drank a bottle of champagne each...
It was a lot of fun. We danced to 'N Sync and various other gems, talked a ton, gushed about our husbands, etc. It was super chill and I needed friend time.
Today was just groceries, lunch out with H and the kid, and dinner at the IL's.
Tomorrow my mom moves up here! I'm making her a casserole and brownies to stock her fridge.

L used to at least sit quietly eating snacks before. Last time we went I was chasing him down. If dh could be home more often I'd leave L and take the baby.

H and I basically deal with one kid each during mass, with H having DS and me having DD. DS sits for the first little bit, but then H spends most of the mass in the lobby chasing DS. We like going to mass as a family, and even though it's challenging, we try to make the best of it. If H didn't come to mass though, i would find it too hard to take both kids on my own. It's going to get easier... right? Lol.

Ours has the option of nursery or quiet bags that has books, small quiet toys, and coloring books and crayons/pencils. So great for the kids!

Before I read the rest, I thought quiet bags were abag you shove your kid into so they'll be quiet. I was side eyeing your church and going to ask if it was Catholic. I wouldn't put it past my church growing up to have something like that. It was very much "kids are seen but not heard". I heard it's much better now. I will be laughing about child filled sacks all day now.

The guys were supposed to be here, to start installing the AC system, between 7:30 and 8. Its almost 8:30 and they still haven't showed. Got a text that they should be here soon. I still have to drop K off at DC. Grrr! I also have my review today and I wasn't expecting to be this late. I hope they don't hold that against me.
