Anyone start this one yet? I think I like it. It touches on a lot of issues, and the characters have depth. No one is over the top insufferable for me.

I’m watching it right now. I’m on episode 2. So far I’m enjoying it.

I just started it. I’m 4 episodes in. It has this dark side to it. I like it so far.

It has the dark moments but a lighthearted way? Does that make sense?

I stumbled upon it Friday night and finished it yesterday. I really liked it, hope a season 2 isn't too far off.

I'm on episode 3 and loving it so far. I don't know how I feel about 98% of the characters yet. But I love complex characters with layers.

I knew nothing of this show until I saw a headline that Taylor Swift was calling it out. Anyone who jokes about her I will watch because she is my BEC

I also think the actress who plays Georgia looks like a relative of the Roberts family (Julia and Emma Roberts).

Ginny’s character divides me so much! I love how she stands up for herself especially with her teacher, but sometimes I think she’s gotten a mean girl attitude from her friends.

But I think that's pretty normal for a 15 year old as well. If she was always wonderful I don't think she would have been as believable. Over all I really liked her as a character, but sometimes I thought she was being really awful.

I finished this today. I really liked it. I liked that it was a little more dark than I had thought. I really hope there's a 2nd season soon!

Should I attempt watching this? Is this worth the effort?

Should I attempt watching this? Is this worth the effort? If you like murder and embezzlement wrapped up in a pretty bow tie with a southern accent, then yes!

Kind of niche, but is there anyone who has watched this show and also read the Jessica Darling book series by Megan McCafferty? I haven't watched the show yet, but I saw some posts about some very specific similarities between a character in the books and a character on this show that are making me 🤔

Which character?

addymac All of these things are *exactly* Marcus Flutie from the JD books. They even have the same name!

I really liked this show. {Spoiler}Were we supposed to imply that Georgia killed the second husband because he was touching Ginny and not for his money?
Seemed like in both marriages she hadn’t planned on murder but did it out of (what she thought of as) necessity

Seemed like in both marriages she hadn’t planned on murder but did it out of (what she thought of as) necessity That's how I thought it went down #2. #1 doesn't seem as justified unless they get into a similar story. {Spoiler} Husband #1's comments about how pretty the baby were and how willing he was to watch her made me wonder if we don't find out she killed both because they were trying something with Ginny.

Yeah, these were my thoughts. #1 turned out to be very controlling and potentially abusive, not letting her go out and stuff.

Have you finished? Here are my thoughts on #1 just in case he seemed a bit controlling. After she married him to get custody he tried to leave the apartment (hotel room?) And he basically told her to sit down and watch LotR with her or he was going to call the social services lady back. I think she did it to escape him.
