Happy Saturday! ILs are here. First time seeing them since Christmas. They are going to babysit tonight while we go to Hs hockey fundraiser raffle thing. It’s outdoors and they’ll have fire pits. It’s in the 40s so it shouldn’t be too bad. We went to the brewery for lunch and now I’m sleepy. I should sneak off for a quick nap while L is sleeping. Are you guys expected to get the storm that is headed through here tonight? I assume it would get to you early morning. |

The jj vaccine is a huge win since the trials included the variants in south africa and 100% reduce hospitalizations and death. Moderate includes basically 2-3 symptoms, so could be still pretty mild if you do get sick. The one dose means we need fewer doses made - so the 20 million that will be shipped by the end of March is 20mill vaccinated...of the others that'd be 10m.
I'm curious how it will be distributed, but everyone I follow says the best vaccine is the one immediately available to you. I will get any of them offered first to me.

Hey hey - not much new here. N had a zoom ballet class for the first time and it was very sweet. The leotard we had is suddenly too small, so ordering her a new one. I posted all my pumping stuff on my buy nothing group and several people want some stuff, so that feels good to pass it on. I need to buy some new bras, it's a sad state of affairs over here!

Hi everyone. I was MIA Friday catching up on work and house stuff. I booked our flights to Jamaica in November. Shockingly things were booking up already so I had to jump on it. We also bought C a new bike today but to find what we wanted we had to drive an hour each way. It’s a pretty awesome bike though and should last through elementary school. Between those expenses and paying for camp, it’s been an expensive week!
It’s all rain here today but tomorrow will be cloudy with rain late so hopefully we can get a bike ride in. I’m psyched that it’s getting warmer.

We went to the Farmer's Market then we to a park near there for a change of scenery. They wouldn't stop bitching about leaving the house but had a blast.
Now veggie pot pie is in the crockpot and I just need to muster up the motivation to make blueberry strussel so I can veg out the rest of the night.

We just had our movie night and saw Flora and Ulysses on Disney plus. It was good. Would have been better if C didn’t have to wrestle his black panther stuffie the whole time. He begs for these movie nights and basically distracts us the whole time. Drives me nuts.

Re: legos, we moved the train table upstairs in the hallway a few months ago and the legos are in canvas bins that fit underneath. They don't go too far when they have a nice flat surface right there to build on, so it's worked out okay so far. But a few more sets and we'll run out of space, so I need to get creative.

I just got an email reminding me I was ordained 7 years ago. I did it in the middle of the r night while breastfeeding L. Good times. So should we refer to you as Pastor Chrisy01 ?  Did you officiate a friend's wedding or was this just an oddity of where the internet took you during witching hour feedings? |

I rotated the kids books today and Julia pulled out the four Nancy Tillman books we have, I’m glad she did they’re such beautiful books and the kids are old enough now to understand the meaning.
