I saw the bathroom light turn on at 545, finally got up at 6 to check on Evie and she was just sitting on the toilet, reading. Said she felt fine, but I gave her a zofran anyway.
Her GS troop is doing a cookie booth at the little coffee shop in our town, we are working it from 10 to 11, where I plan in buying a delicious cup of coffee. No other plans this weekend. I might try to do a little shopping for business casual clothes.

Morning. I’m so tired. Baby girl still want to nurse every 2-3 hours and during the day refuses to sleep in her crib. She’ll nap in de stroller (as long as we’re moving) in the carrier and in me or my h... we tried (and tried) but after crying & fighting sleep for 20 minutes the most time she’ll sleep is 15/20 minutes.
I promised Ds we’d go on a sunrise walk, hoping we would see some wildlife, so i put baby girl in a carrier and we left the cabin at 07.20. We walked for almost two hours, no wildlife unfortunately, but it was still fun. We picked up some orange juice, croissants and fruit tarts on the way back.

Morning. I got sucked in to TikTok last night and was up way later than I should have been so I’m dragging. Work is probably going to go real slow today. I can’t remember if I mentioned to you guys but I got an email from my boss earlier this week that one of the screeners said I was being “harsh” with my words towards them and the guest services people. The last weekend I worked, I was crabby so I could see that but I am generally nice TO people regardless. Anyways, the screener that complained about me is working with me today so that’s annoying. I’m keeping things curt. Our restrictions are lessening up. We don’t have to check temps for anyone anymore and now they are allowing 2 visitors to a room at time, including minors. Our cases are declining a lot and there are less than 20 COVID patients in my hospital.

Morning ladies. My mom's dog isn't doing well so we're not meeting up with her. Not sure what's in the cards. If the weather is decent we might set up a little carnival in the yard for entertainment.
We watched Castaway last night. Cass was traumatized by the death of Wilson, but otherwise they loved it.

trtlcrzy I just can’t picture they about you. I hope you are so kind you drive them crazy today. What’s everyone’s thoughts and the J&J vaccine? While it will certainly help get vaccines out faster, my initial thought is “why do I want 66% protection if I could have 95%?” What am I missing?

While it will certainly help get vaccines out faster, my initial thought is “why do I want 66% protection if I could have 95%?” What am I missing? 1 shot vs 2 is the benefit I see to it. J&J sounds more like the flu shot to me with its effectiveness percentage. |

Morning! C is working both days as usual. I have homework. I really need to focus this weekend instead of rewatching Bridgerton which I discovered last weekend. Normally NMS but I got sucked in. I’m currently listening to E sing in her room. I’ll probably get C up in a minute so he can take care of the kids while I hit up target for a few things.

Looks like the trials for the first 2 and the J&J vaccines were looking for different outcomes, but they all have a strong immunity to severe illness (J&J is 85%). The M & P trials were also done before the new variants were found so that could have had some effects on the results too. All of the experts I’ve seen say to get whichever is available to you at the time, they’re all great. |

kim22 Even though it may be less effective, it’s still effective period. There’s a chance you will get Covid with any of the vaccines, but overall the big picture is that it should be milder and keep you out of the hospital.

Morning! L slept at her grandparents last night which means I got to sleep in a bit. Typically she only wants me in the morning and MH can't distract her enough so not even worth trying. Today I stayed in bed til 9, which I never do even if I have the opportunity!
45 here so lots of outside time. Pretty muddy from all the snow melting though.

It's gorgeous here, 70 and sunny. Bil and his fiancé bought a house so we're helping them move today. My mom has all 3 kids and it's been fun. I needed the childless time, even if I am loading boxes and scrubbing bathrooms. I'm not thrilled about where they bought, but I'm biting my tongue and just being happy for them.

Being around people when you don't feel peopley is the worst. This. Approach it and clear the air, recognition and apologies go a long way with coworkers especially. Honestly, I don’t care how she feels about me as rude as that may sound. She has been chatty and nice to me this morning so I don’t think she’s holding a grudge anyway. She is just picking up shifts screening, this isn’t her normal job so at some point I won’t be seeing her anymore. |

The Lego situation in my house is annoying me. There’s currently a shelving unit, a big bin, a drawer in the Trofast unit. Basically all over the place. I was thinking maybe getting two of these and having sets in one and then separating classic Lego by colours in the other.  lahdeedah jewels or any other Lego folks, thoughts? |

From the person who finds legos everywhere-just found a couple strays in the drawer while cleaning out the butler’s pantry- I say go for it. We only have a long under the bed bin. It would be helpful if my kid would only build in one place. |

I almost bought S something similar recently but we wound up actually turning the closet into his room into a full lego storage! I think it's perfect. vino yes despite the sleep issue, I/we are having the best time on vacation. Just tons of outdoor time, walks & nature, plus the spring like weather is making it all the better. With the Lego’s... we have got tons of Lego’s and tons of duplo stored in these huge lego/duplo brick storage boxes, whatever you do, don’t get these... they look so cool, but since they’re not drawers, they are just not practical.

Happy Saturday! ILs are here. First time seeing them since Christmas. They are going to babysit tonight while we go to Hs hockey fundraiser raffle thing. It’s outdoors and they’ll have fire pits. It’s in the 40s so it shouldn’t be too bad.
We went to the brewery for lunch and now I’m sleepy. I should sneak off for a quick nap while L is sleeping.
