A had to work today (he's usually off) and MJ got up at 6am... if you need me I'll be crying on my couch. I'm so exhausted. It's been a week of this and I am so run down and need a freaking break.
What's on everyone's agenda for the day? I need to get a shower and go to staples. M has remote learning today too.

Morning!
I'm dreading work today. Im sure someone will send me tons of meeting invites for the next week and half to transition everything over. I've already decided I'm not giving up taking Evie to and from school during this time. And I'm limiting the time I spend in the office to 2 hours a day.
Nothing exciting today, I need to do a grocery pick up. Evie has school pictures today finally so we are figuring out clothes and hair this morning.

Morning! I'm at work. L woke me up at 3 to tell me she wet the bed. Of course she was in MY bed and snuggled very very close to me, so ew.

Both kids up at 620 today. Josie was in a mood. Girl clearly needs her sleep.
I’m waiting at the derm for a follow up appointment. Then I have to supermarket sweep the Big Y and CVS before pick up.
I am thisclose to my period and I want a milkshake so badly but I don’t think I’ll have time to grab one.

Morning! I am headed to AR today to pick up 2dogs from MH. He’s there now and headed to TN today with the other 2 dogs. I took my Jeep to the dealer to get some work done and got bad news...it needs a whole new front axle. They quoted me $5500-$7500. 😬 it’s 10 years old and has 230,000 miles on it. So we obviously don’t want to sink that much more money into it. So we are going to check salvage yards for the part, have a local mechanic replace it, then sell it before anything else goes wrong. So I’m in the market for a new vehicle basically. My parents lent me my moms car for the time being because they are retired and go everywhere together. So they insisted.

Cadence woke up early too. While I was in the shower she asked if she could come to work with me, so she's here. She's used my actual office more than I have! She has an asynchronous learning day, but she isn't doing her actual assignments right now.  |

Happy Friday! Not much happening here.. My friend is bringing her little girl over this afternoon to play with L and we can catch up, which will be nice.
So last fall, I had an acquaintance text me and ask if I would be interested in working part time in a few years (like once L starts preschool.. she’s really planning ahead!) because there would be a good opportunity in her company that she thoughts I’d be a good fit for. (Totally remote position, very flexible) Fast forward to a couple months ago and she texted again saying they would want the position filled later this year instead, so we had a phone conversation about it last week. I went in to it Not really thinking I would want to do it, and I would only do it if it was less than a certain number of hours and for a certain dollar amount because I’m not really looking for anything right now. Well, turns out it fits my criteria and is only 10 hours a week and quite a bit more than my minimum pay I had in mind. It’s an independent contractor position so totally flexible. I talked to Dh and it seems too good to pass up because this is exactly what I would want to do when L is in school, and not something that I would easily find again, so I think I’m going to do it! And we agreed my income would be totally fun money, so I can get my cleaning lady back, finally get Botox and I even told him I’d like to have a sitter this summer so I can golf on ladies day. And really, what’s 10 hours a week? I definitely spend more time than that just messing around on my phone. So I’m actually a little excited!

Good morning! It’s S’s birthday! So far we’ve just been hanging at home but I think we are going to get ready, get lunch and go eat at a park. It’s almost 40 degrees which is basically summer right now. S is very excited to have cake later, she keeps talking about it. slenle that’s great! Congrats. |

TGIF. Man all these weeks are long. Yet in a whole it moves fast...like how the eff is March next week?
We're supposed to visit my mom for a daytrip tomorrow but her dog is really sick so it will depend on how the dog is doing.
I've been super productive this week at work and now I'm in the office and just staring at the screen getting nothing done.

wedding I recently witnessed one of the stupidest things I've ever seen one of those moms do on Good Girls. {Spoiler}WTF to offering to get your kid any pet. Who the hell sets themselves up like that? No, no, no to snakes.

Happy Friday!
I’m at work and it was a slow day. I have to make a call in a bit about pre approval on a mortgage. Trying to have my ducks in a row because houses are moving fast. I’m not sure if I even want to buy since it’s definitely a sellers market, but if the right thing comes along, I want to be ready. I was browsing listings the other day and saw a new listing that we would be interested in and it already has a pending offer today. Two days. House hunting will not be fun at all. I probably should table it until Mh is there for good so we have better access to view new listings.

I sent H to school this morning. His teacher promised me she'd keep an eye on him and not let him mess with his chin. I took the gauze & tape off and just put a band aid on.
My in laws are keeping the kids for the weekend! We have reservations at a tapas place I've been wanting to try. I'm so excited!

In his normal dick form, my boss sent an email this afternoon that started with 'Thanks Michelle.' Then proceeded to tell me that I need to be in the office starting Monday until the 10th to train multiple people. People from our Syracuse office will also sit in on the call for support.
I replied to the main guy I'm training and our site manager and said I'd be in from 9 to 2, but I can't change my schedule with Evie on such short notice, but that I would be available to answer emails anytime.
I think I just expected a Thanks for your help, this is what I would prefer to have happen, instead of the ordering around.
So I'm sitting on my couch with my laptop watching Temptation Island on Demand. Drama from elsewhere.

Only 30 more minutes of work! YAY!...then it's the weekend, which really arent great so I dont know, maybe just habit at this point to long for the weekends.
I'm working and MH is doing less than nothing today, which is annoying cause he is not usually like this and B is home. Grrrrrrrr.
