I'm so exhausted. All 3 kids were up by 6:45. No school so no bus to catch and yet everyone is up before the sun 😩 why?

Thinking about H tgrimes. I hope he slept good.

Morning! I slept like crap. I sent my resignation in before I logged off yesterday. Received a response at 830 that it had been received and they would be in contact regarding my exit strategy. As all things in this company, very impersonal.

So I'm nervous about how the next 2 weeks are going to turn out. I don't have anything personal left in my office, I took it out long ago. I have a few things at home that I need to get to my old boss, but really no reason to go back up there.

I would not be disappointed or surprised if they told me they would pay me the 2 weeks, but that my employment is done.

Me too. It’s a good step toward a clean break. I do hope you hear from some of your colleagues in the company about how valuable your time was there.

This is how I feel about Play - doh.  We do have some but I rarely let them use it.  I hate finding playdoh residue places.

Crayola markers stay put up and are only used supervised since she drew on my walls.... but she was playing with the dry erase boards and then went a little crazy launching markers. Girl has no chill.

mwhip Hope it’s a smooth exit and they don’t make it harder than it has to be.

I snoozed one too many times and we were rushing out the door to get M to school on time. We made it just before the bell rang. Got my workout in and running an errand before heading home. I got asked to work today, but I didn’t go in because I work all next week. I need today to get some stuff done and I told M we would go to get his baseball stuff when he gets home. His first practice is Monday.

Got my allergy shots this morning and then came back home while mh is at his dentist appointment. He actually thought he could take cadence with him ....dude, pandemic! No extras allowed anywhere!
As soon as he gets back I'll head to work.

Good for you for saying no! It is hard sometimes. When do you and your H have to move?

I signed C up for 4 weeks at a different summer camp this year. It looks awesome (it better be for the cost!) and I think it will be more fun than where he currently goes just because it is different. I'm all anxiety ridden about it though for some reason. He has gone to the same place for preschool, after care, and summer camp so it will be a big change. Hopefully it will be a good one. He has also expressed interest in sleep away camp. He's too young and I wouldn't do it during COVID times, but my dad offered to sponsor the fancy one on the water here when he is older.

In other news I heard that our Chief is likely to allow us to telework twice a week when we return to the office, which will be in the summer. That would be amazing!

B has no school for the next two days so he's home with me, he'll be on his own for the most part since I'm working. MH is off tomorrow so hopefully they'll do something fun, they're not connecting lately and it's frustrating, MH needs to do better.

Welp, my kid is home with me. School nurse called and said Evie wouldn't bend her right knee. She put heat on it and called me back and said it didn't really help, she wasn't able to get much motion out of it, so I picked her up. I'm talking to a different rheumatologist at the hospital since hers is out this week to see what we need to do. I'm not sure if I'll have to take her to the dr or ER. She said the pain was a 10 on the 0 to 10 scale, when she walks, she doesn't bend it, it's like she was last summer before she was diagnosed.

I still felt bad about not helping out, but I’m a work in progress. Lol.

MH starts next month. The boys and I will be here until the first of June. We are going to check the area out and hopefully look at some houses next weekend for the first half of M’s spring break.

Morning. They are celebrating S’s birthday at preschool today so we had to stop and get donuts on the way this morning. After I dropped her off V and I went to target for new pillows and sheets. Now I’m nursing V before I can go into Costco. I’m finally going to get my own membership, it’s going to be nice not having to depend on my sister’s availability to go.

This may sound weird, but do you think flare ups are worse with allergy seasons? I know we aren’t in spring yet, but the weather flip flops are doing a number on sinus/allergies and just wondering if that has any affect on her. I know I’ve heard the old people say the weather/temps seem to affect their arthritis.
