mwhip I’m so happy for you! I’m being observed tomorrow at work. Is it bad that I want it to go poorly to help with my case for a transfer? My sister helped a few people get vaccine appointments and now started a little group of volunteers that has helped almost 300 people. She clearly states on her form you must fit the rules for our state or you won’t be helped. She got a 22 year old who wrote “I want to travel” on her form... She also has some of the sweetest stories of thanks from people she has helped. She called an elderly women the other day to let her know she got her an appointment and the lady started to cry and said her husband died of covid a few months ago and then she fell and broke her hip and then just that day her dog had died so she was so grateful. We need more people like your sister in the world. That’s awesome. |

MH is on the way to the Er with Hayden. He busted his chin open getting out of the bathtub. Augh. I feel terrible that I’m not with him but it’s always me that goes. And Mark was supposed to be watching him. I know accidents happen but damn. Poor guy. I’m sorry. You think he needs stitches? This accident is one I am always waiting for. My kids always want to jump out of the tub or climb on the edge and then jump. I always tell them don’t do it because you are likely to bust your head open. They never listen. |

That’s an amazing thing your sister and her group of volunteers are doing kim22, how wonderful for that woman to get an appointment. LOL ‘i want to travel’....get in line millennial. They’re truly making a difference, ‘look for the helpers’ is a wonderful reminder during these shit times. |

They just got home. He had to get 3 stitches. He just cried himself to sleep. He wouldn’t even let me touch him but when I tried to get up he’d hit me and tell me to lay down. lol. They gave him something to calm him down before the stitches so I’m sure he was a bit loopy and confused. He has a big bandage covering his chin for now. We’ll see how long he keeps it on there.

mwhip congratulations! Vaccine related informal poll...would you get it if you were pregnant? Technically I'm eligible, but appointments are difficult / impossible to get right now. Normally I trust all the science but my brain won't let me get past the "what if's" I would. To me it’s like getting the flu shot while pregnant. It passes some immunity to baby. |
