It’s the Brendan Fraser/ Rachel Weis Mummy, not the Tom Cruise Mummy.

It’s the Brendan Fraser/ Rachel Weis Mummy, not the Tom Cruise Mummy. Yes. But I would not put that in romcom territory. Yes there is romance. and yes there is comedy. But it's much more an action comedy. Like Indiana Jones.

I agree that National Treasure and The Mummy are ...not RomComs.
Also I surprised myself that I have seen 23 out of 64 of these. I generally avoid RomComs, I really don't like them, but I guess I do like some of the older ones and some of the better new ones (like Crazy Rich Asians). Also how is The Notebook not on there?

I also don't remember Romancing the Stone being much of a RomCom but it's been like 20 years since I've seen it.

I like how Meg Ryan/Julia Roberts and Keanu Reeves/Nick Cage have their own categories haha.
Isn't Practical Magic the one with Sandra Bullock and she buries her murdered husband in the backyard and he comes back to life or something? Dying at "y'all think this is a romcom"

Dying at "y'all think this is a romcom" I wonder if enough people mix this up with Hope Floats (Both came out in the same year or really close to each other)

She helps bury her sister's abusive boyfriend that she accidentally killed, in their family's backyard. Sandra falls for the detective.

Dying at "y'all think this is a romcom" No, she buries Nicole Kidman's dead boyfriend/lover and he comes back to life.

Thanks for clearing it up Ls2012 and bobyn! Lol obviously I will not grow up to be a successful film critic 😂
