I got a letter from my Dr's office yesterday that they're moving locations. Also, my primary dr and one of the others are going to be phasing out OB, and the third (the one I really like) will be continuing OBGYN at their partner office. What they didn't mention was when all this is happening! So now I'm wondering where the hell my appointment will be on Wednesday AND if I should just switch to the other office and stick with the Dr I like. Ugh. I'll call on Monday, but I'm sure they'll be bogged down with calls like mine.

Ive told my OB she is literally the only reason I am having my baby in this small community - and I'm dead serious too. Hopefully they'll have some answers for you Monday!

I'm in a cleaning mood this morning and trying to take advantage of it while it lasts. DD is watching Frozen and playing some kind of adorable (but incredibly complicated) made-up game by herself so maybe that's why the urge to clean hit!
Anyone else having crazy pregnancy dreams? I have reoccurring dreams that usually involve ridiculous plot lines but almost always include my mom and I fighting. Which is weird because we never fight - ever. Not sure what this indicates and I never use to put much stock in dream interpretation but this like 10+ weeks of this craziness!

Hi guys! I'm here! As usual, I've been trying to lovetit when I can. I hate that I can't catch up or share with you guys most days, but I think about ya'll! I've been having a lot of pelvic pains and problems lately that have sidelined me and have made me miserable. I bought a maternity belt that I love on Prime day, but it hasn't really helped the pelvic pain/swelling. I keep reading that it's normal, but I think I may make a doctors appt this week just to put my mind at ease. It's not normal to be in this much pain at 27 weeks is it?

rachydc sorry to hear you're in so much pain. I'm having issues with my hip flexors and will be seeing a chiro on Monday. I hope that you're able to get some relief. I'm feeling pretty proud of myself today. I have an old iPod classic I use for music in my car (I bought it in 2007) and the middle button stopped working. So last night I took it apart and fixed the issue and it's working again! Thankfully H had an old Nano he never used that I put music on temporarily, but it doesn't have the space to keep all of my music. Taking DD to a kids gym this morning to get some energy out and then getting a new router (power outage fried our good one and then backup sucks).

They are always different, but it is more like I am watching a movie while I sleep. Long and involved plot lines often with a sci-if/futuristic feel and it's like I'm someone else, not myself. It is so bizarre!

Trying to decide what to do today. I need a couple things to make pesto pasta with our fresh basil we got this week from our csa, so probably a quick grocery trip and maybe the mall/Target. DS would love a visit to the play area too. And I've really been craving this curry pasta dish from a local place... I might just see if they do take out for supper.
Hope everyone has a lovely Saturday!

Good to see you rachydc. Sorry about all the pain you're having. Have you thought about seening a chiropractor? One that is Webster Certified is best for us while pregnant. I hope you're able to take it easy this weekend.

rachydc I am having a lot of pelvic and lower abdominal pain too - as well as this general swelling/heavy feeling in the pelvic floor area. It sucks, and it happened when I was pregnant with DS too. I'm 26 weeks and it feels like my hips are tearing apart - just trying to climb into bed is really painful. I think I am prone to SPD, which is causing a lot of the pain. I'd read suggestions on how to manage it, but from what I can tell there's not a whole lot you can do while pregnant except to take it easy and try to keep your legs/knees together as much as possible. Hope your doctor has some helpful advice for you. Happy weekend everyone! My FFFC yesterday motivated me to let DS watch Moana. He already had seen little YouTube videos with most of the songs, and DS loved the movie. He was a little scared by Teka at the end and would cover his eyes or leave the room when "spooky" was in a scene. Other than those parts, though, he loved it. I think this will be a new favorite! Also, DH gets to go to IKEA tomorrow morning - so looking forward to what he brings back and helping him pick out rugs via FaceTime!

Hubs is out with DS to our weekend am froggy pond hike. I'm a little sad that I can't go. Hubs has been so busy that he's been unable to take DS but glad he made the time this am. I'm strategizing DS hair cut this weekend. Should I put him in my drafting chair and spin him around or should sit on it and spin around him! 🤔 Decisions! Also I'm stoked that I received my target stuff yesterday along with my exciting pot of Aquaphor lol! Certainly wasn't expecting the target stuff to arrive. Also received a different RNP design? I actually like it better than what was shown originally - although I'm wondering if there was a glitch with the broken preview link? It's still auto so no matter and isn't pink lol. So I'll keep it. With all the IKEA chatter yesterday, I started thinking we need to get another Raskog cart. We used this in our BR with DS as his diaper, clothing, catch all station. Now it holds his art supplies. Guess I'm going to see what stuff they have that we might need or could use? Dang who started the IKEA chatter. 😜

H is at an amusement park riding the roller coasters with his BF who's visiting. I have DD and am exhausted. We decided to visit my mom and go to the playground. Now they are feeding her lunch for me, I call that a win. We'll be heading home after lunch for a nap.

Not much going on here, just passing the days away. I went to the grocery store and got some stuff, which was nice. I also picked this up because it made me laugh. H told me I should get it because "between my hangry crabby and his innate crabbiness, she will need it". Other than that, just hanging out. Wishing it wasn't so damn hot!

We spent the morning cleaning the house and now I feel it. My hips are so sore. 😩 DD is napping then we are going to the river to hang out with her cousins and grill tonight.

Such a bizzare pregnancy related thing!

DH and I got to spend a kid free day together! We had some non rushed sexy time this morning, went for brunch, and went to a specialty donut shop to pick up donuts! Then we did IKEA to get the rest of the stuff we need for DD's big girl room and Walmart to get the last couple things on our list for baby! Now it's just setting up DD's room for her birthday present in September and then washing baby clothes/diapers and getting the nursery set back up for a baby again! He's out volunteering at a church youth group event tonight and I just picked up DD and we are doing puzzles ❤️

I just destroyed my dinner. It was so good.
The only benefit of ones husband being away is you get to make all the food he hates!

Hope you were able to satisfy your craving or two! Oh man, hating Chinese food ... that would have been a dealbreaker in this house! Today was white chicken enchiladas because my husband hates sour cream. Funny (sad) story: H loved these until he caught me putting the sour cream in the sauce one time. Suddenly, they're bad.

rachydc, sorry you've been in so much pain. We went to the zoo this morning and it was fun. DS didn't nap today, so the last few hours have been a cluster cuss. Hoping he'll fall asleep quickly. My nerves/patience are shot and I'm exhausted. But I made a banana split for dessert and it was glorious and I'm going to Ikea tomorrow, so things are looking up.

I think we have to put one of our cats to sleep. He's only 8 but has chronic urinary issues and it's not getting better. I'm sad that he's in pain for his last days. We have to give him medicine 3 times a day and it's torture for him. 😔

Spent the morning with two mamas from my Aug15 BMB and their kids. Went to the science center and we all had a blast! Excited to eventually have more of you to do GTGs with I have no local friends with kids. Went out and ordered a new dishwasher this evening as well. So part fun and part productive. Overall good day!

so sorry rebeccabunch, we had to do that in February and it was so hard. Hugs. We've been searching for our Apple TV remote for the last 24 hours. Just found it in my purse.
