Morning! It’s sunny and supposed to get to 40 today, so I’m happy. N has completely snapped out of her anxiety issue, so mornings are much better. L and I are snuggling watching cocomelon, but I need to get up and start some laundry soon.
We had a weekend of way too much eating out so I need to detox my body today which also means I need to stop snacking on the giant skillet cookie we made last night. Ha.

Warming up here too, we will be in the upper 50s today, tomorrow we will get into the lower 60s. Crazy weather!
Just work today, Evie has girl scouts this afternoon. Since the weather is decent, we will meet at a park.
I was asked to participate in a survey for work. I was...not nice. I didn't hold anything back. It was about communication, how the management team has handled change, how things are communicated. I rated the company poor or disagreed with their statements on pretty much everything. I don't think anything will change, but at least I got to let them know. I will do the same, if I get a job offer and asked to do an exit interview.

Morning.
I got a workout in after dropping the kids off at school. The company is coming out today to look at my furnace. They gave a huge window, but just called to say they were headed here. I’m glad I won’t have to wait all day, now if it can just be an easy fix.
Not much going on other than enjoying the peace and quiet in my house before M gets home later.

Morning all I was making lunches this morning and B asked for some carrots. I was internally screaming so happy that he was FINALLY asking for vegetables, my excitement quickly came to an end when he informed me that it’s for the snowman he’s going to make at school. 😐🤣 Also. We were making snowman yesterday in the yard and after some thought my family dubbed this one ‘pandemic Mom’. They’re......not wrong. Ha!  |

Hi from ‘our’ cabin ladies! We’re on our first vacation as a family of five! The weather is amazing for this time of year, so we spend the whole afternoon outside. We went for a walk and found a small empty playground m, the kids had a blast. We going to try to train baby girl to nap in her crib this week, since she now takes all her day naps on me in the moby wrap. I secretly love it, I feel so close to her, but I know it’s smart to get her to take naps in her crib. Appetizers and stupid tv are on the menu for tonight  . |

Hi again. It's snowing here again or maybe it's raining now? Either way, Colin had a 3 hour early dismissal and I have been watching for an email from daycare, but so far Chase's there to stay.
I am still struggling a bit with all the change going on at work and feeling less productive for it, but given everything we've been through in the last year, I'm still probably ahead. I just hate having to get approval for decisions I used to drive, it's majorly demotivating and wastes so much time. Leadership is going to start "stay interviews" in the next week or so to get a pulse on morale and I am so looking forward to my turn. I'm not angry exactly, just concerned and a bit frustrated.
That's about it from me. Hope everyone is staying safe and warm.

Today was B's 3rd session. He enjoys going, and she's nice. but I'm not sure I'm seeing anything that will make any lasting change. I guess we will see.
We had a weird snowstorm right at the time we were supposed to be going and I got stuck in something (it's about 20 minutes away and took me over 50). I knew I might hit some traffic so I left early, but not that early. So I was 20 minutes late to a 45 minute appointment. I was so aggravated. I hate being late under any circumstance, but esp when I am paying these extraordinary rates out of pocket.

Also, in other news, S just went back to school in person mid January and it's been 2-3 days per week for 4 hours each with the afternoons at home. I just got notice that starting in mid March he will be going 5 days per week with the afternoons at home! It's definitely progress!!!
