How are you Texas residents doing? Hopefully warmer weather will start coming in today. The high today is 46 and we're supposed to get another hard freeze tonight. Currently I'm just dealing with having to boil water for everything so it's annoying but manageable. I'm supposed to be working from home today. We shall see how much work gets done with the kids here. MH said he might be able to come home in the afternoon and take H back to the office with him again. Praise be. |

Well I already had to use 3 vacation days this week because we lost power... That is just... mind boggling that you’ve had to take days for this. I’m so sorry, this is not vacation, this is surviving, you need vacation to recover from this ordeal. Right? Last year when it flooded my coworker couldn’t leave her house. She had to take vacation days. After the hurricanes, if you couldn’t make it to the office you had to use your vacation days. It’s really ridiculous. |

I'm super annoyed at your office tgrimes. Like sitting in a cold house with no electricity, running water, and 2 small kids is a fucking vacation. Sorry you have to waste your hard earned time that way. Hopefully with the rest of the country thawing out, your power grid won't be over taxed and everything will slowly get back to normal. |

My call yesterday afternoon went well. They already emailed me and want me to come in early next week for an in person interview. I have an interview at 10:30 this morning. I realized last night, they have sent an email Monday confirming location. It's a county job, interview is in the courthouse, I know lower level, but I was driving when she called me and I can not remember what the room number was! I left a voice mail for her this morning, but if I don't hear anything, I guess I'll just go up there an wander around. I mean, it's a courthouse, during a pandemic. I don't expect them to just let me in all willy nilly.

Good morning. I woke up with a massive headache but with ibuprofen and some time I’m feeling fine. I need to run some errands later this morning with both of my little girls. It should be alright though, S listens better when H isn’t around. So cute nam2013! tgrimes they should be paying you to stay home. mwhip I’m glad things are going well on the job front. In the past when I wasn’t sure exactly where to go I’ve just asked the receptionist when I got there. |

I just found out that my dishwasher has a sanitizing cycle and I can use it to safely wash dishes. This is the best news ever because trying to wash dishes in boiling water was not fun.

I'm pretty annoyed. They never called me back to tell me what room the interview is in. Literally anyone can walk in this building, its the county administration offices. I saw a sign that said interviews were held in 215, so I'm sitting outside of it waiting, but have no idea if I'm in the right location.
