 H woke me up at 5:45. I took him back to his room to try and get him back to sleep, when M came bursting in to tell us it was snowing. H jumped out of bed screaming, “I want to see, I want to see!” So we’re up. They had to touch it so I opened up the back door. It lasted 5 seconds because it was so cold. Lol. They are planning our day around snowball fights and recreating Olaf. |

Morning. Had baby girls 3 month well visit today, she’s a little over 11lbs & 22 inch, little chub. She needed to get two shots, poor thing was so sad, she’s napping in my arms as we speak. Can’t believe she’s 3mo already!
Not much else on the agenda today.

Crazy winter weather. It's -8 here, feels like -28. Evie was supposed to have a PT appt today and go to her grandmas, but because of her cough, I'm keeping her home with me today. She's sounding better than she did this weekend, but the cold air is definitely not going to help her.

They lasted 10 min outside. Lol. Hahahaha but I get it! Our kids are dressed in all.the.gear thanks to their auntie in Norway, wool linked boots, thermal underwear, snowsuits, merino wool buffs and hats, normally way over the top, but last week it was a blessing! |

I put bigger, looser sweatpants over their regular pants. It worked in a pinch. Is this where I tell you that M doesn't own sweatpants? She wore 2 pairs of leggings and H wore 2 pairs of sweatpants. They both had 2 shirts on and their coats with hoods, and their rain boots. Lol. |

No school today. I'm snuggled under a blanket and the kids are having a dance party. I just folded my last load of laundry so I need to put that away. We got another 3ish inches over night. Supposedly we're getting 6-10 this afternoon. Glad I don't need to leave the house until Wednesday.

Morning all.
It’s Family Day here so a day off, for all of us to be together. Again.Yay.
Yesterday was good, the kids played and watched tv, I baked a couple things and MH paced, lol. It is clear that it was for the best he was away last year for the lockdown, he’s not handling it so great. We ordered heart shaped pizza and watched Zootopia for our movie night, it was cute!
Today is vacuuming and meal prep, if it’s nice we might take a cruise in the truck to go see my Mom, her and the kids are missing each other, and we can have a visit outside.

Mother nature needs to go home, she’s drunk. It’s -24 here. I’m tired and have no plans to leave my house. Both girls have today and tomorrow off from school. They’ve been mostly getting along this morning, which I’m sure won’t last.

A suit sounds like too much for this workplace, but business casual sounds like the right mix. |

And tgrimes - I just realized you had a pic of it there too... It doesn't happen often and when it does snow, it's very little. Like, no one here knows how to drive on ice but y'all would be fine. My family from Detroit would come visit us and they'd be in shorts while I looked like the kid from a Christmas story. |

Hi all. I’m also over this cold! I think we only have a couple days left of this, it should be in the 30s by the weekend! I spent most of the morning cleaning my oven. So time consuming, but it needed to be done after Dh let pizza fall through the racks.
N went to school with no issue this morning. She was excited to go right to the counselors office, so it was a good distraction.
Dh wants to make steaks tonight so I either need to go to the store or get an order in. Probably do an order so I don’t have to get out of the car.

My kids just wear rain boots and two layers of bottoms. I’m glad M finally got her snow! We got mostly freezing rain and ice with a little snow. Your layer looks a bit thicker than our layer we have now. ETA: I see this was covered. Lol. |

Evie's school is cancelled for tomorrow, due to temps in the AM. Lucky me. klong11 you have more snow than we do! Evie would also be in heaven, begging me to take her sledding. |

The weather here is soooo weird, last Saturday it was 12 degrees, coming Saturday the prognosis is 55-60 degrees... As long as it’s not constantly raining or a heat wave I’m fine with all weather.

Morning. I slept like crap last night. MH got up with M for is early teams meeting for school and M2 and I slept late. He is doing his last school meeting now so they will probably go out in the snow after lunch.
We got no word from school yet, but he will probably be distance learning again tomorrow because of ice and hazardous road conditions. We get another wintry mix Wednesday/Thursday so I wouldn’t be surprised if they DL all week.
Tomorrow morning it’s will be 7 degrees with a real feel of 0. That’s so crazy to me living in the south. But then I hear some of you say things like -28 degrees and I’m like 🥶.

A is on his way home because he has to get a weld machine on his way, so they sent him early. He'll be home by 3 and he's bring me coffee. Bless him. Also means he can take the boys sledding. He hooked the sled up to the golf cart yesterday. They want to do that again.

Pipes in the second bathroom are frozen. Just the cold line for the shower and the line that fills the toilet tank. I'm very annoyed by it.
We have a zoom teacher conference at 1:15. Hopefully the power doesn't go out before then. The are doing rolling outages, but I know some areas of our neighborhood haven't had power since last night.
