I got the call at 10 til 5 that they want me to come in next Friday for an in person interview! So I have that scheduled for next Friday morning.
Evies eye appt was better than last time...she didn't freak out quite as bad about being dilated. Everything looked good, next appointment in 3 months.
I emailed evies rheumatologist back asking if we should try injecting the methotrexate instead of drinking it, if that would help. She agreed it should help, and is worth a try, so she is sitting with an ice pack on her leg...and I'm about to give her a shot. Fuck

She freaked out a little, cried, said she didn't want to do it, then it was over and she was fine. She said it was better than drinking it, so hoping she feels good tomorrow. |

Great news about the interview mwhip, and I'm glad the shot was easier than expected. I've been giving myself 2/month for 10 years now. Not the same as a kid, I know, but it def. gets easier. Hope it helps her feel better. |

Packed up my crap and let them deal with their stuff when it shows up unboxed and disorganized. They better show appreciation for your efforts.

Ok nam2013 a good thing. When I got off work, MH told me the neighbors were going to watch the kids so we could go out to eat an early dinner as our valentines celebration. We went to a spot new to us and it was good, including crab fondue and praline bread pudding. YUM. And I got to wear a pair of boots I bought on sale before COVID but never wore. |

Got to the beach and DD informed me she needed to buy Valentine’s for all her teammates. You know what’s opened in a shore town at night in February? Nothing at all so we had to drive back over the bridge to a target and dig through slim pickings. Now she is sleeping and I’m hungry but we only have condiments and expired peanut butter so I’m going to finish off some White Claws then stay up and be scared of being alone all night because this place is creepy in the winter and I couldn’t convince my kid to sleep with me.

Moving suuuuuucks klong11, there’s always the worker bees and the other that think a fairy godmother comes and sets everything up. Frustrating for sure. Oh no kim22! Although I have no idea what ‘going back over the bridge’ means, lol, it sounds daunting and now you’re hungry, maybe a little drunk and scared. I’m laughing how your DD rejected your sleepover suggestion. FX morning comes soon. |

lahdeedah It’s just 9pm here so I’m starting it soon, I’ve got some air popped popcorn with melted butter and salt and a glass of Malbec. Ready for my movie night! The second movie was ok, not as good as the first but still watchable. I just noticed it on my ‘coming soon’ thread on Netflix and added it to my list, Netflix FTW.

We're doing a Galentines Day Sunday morning. My friend is making this.  Would not say no to this! However, does it get cold? I'm very particular about my food being hot and the waffles and bacon would need to be hot! No idea. My guess is it will never look this pretty and we’ll just eat them as she makes them. Lol. I will definitely report back. |
