flamingo that’s great you mixed up the dates, another King Cake next week. DH’s old company had an office in NOLA so they went all out for Mardi Gras every year.

C was yelling he needed a big band aid for his leg (which had a very small scratch). I yelled sure whatever buddy and he came out of the bathroom with a panty liner stuck to his knee! DD has a competition like 5 miles from our shore house early Saturday so she and I are going to stay there Friday night. I’m so excited for a big night away (and also that I get to go inside for this one meet only and watch her). 🤣🤣 at C! |

Just got an email that someone in Bs class is positive. So he’s home for a while. And I’m now watching him like a hawk. It’s going to be a long few days with the 3 of us home till MH gets back! Oh no! I hope he stays healthy and you stay sane! |

vino I just got my holiday card returned that I mailed to you on Dec 9. 2 months ago today. It says moved/unknown! Weird So weird! Spoiler..Imma guess they didn’t even try 😉 |

I’m sorry N has been having a hard time slenle. I hope tomorrow is better for her. I can commiserate, B’s been having a rough time lately too, it’s been heartbreaking and frustrating at the same time. Big hugs, this sucks. |

I'm kind of surprised I managed to find a king cake so early, but it was in the grocery store bakery. I have to admit, though, I may get another one--this one was so good with my coffee this morning  |

You guys, I’m feeling so defeated and heartbroken. N was supposed to have gymnastics tonight but after dinner she started crying again. After some back and forth, we decided to stay home and put pajamas on to cuddle on the couch. Then she decided she wanted to go, quick changed again, and came down sobbing and I think borderline panic attack, so we didn’t go. Then she just kept crying about how she wanted to go but her body won’t let her and how she hates feeling like this. And cried that she doesn’t deserve a special day with me this weekend. Cue me crying right along with her. 😭

Oh man slenle. That’s tough. Poor girl has a lot of big emotions. Maybe you can reach out to a child therapist for some tools to help her manage them? |

slenle I’m so so sorry for you and N, I would be crying too. I’m with jewels, i would wait and see for a week or two, if this goes on for longer maybe reach out to a child therapist. Poor girl... oh and I would do the special day, especially now🙈.
