We got 8 inches of snow last night. I don't plan to walk outside at all. School was canceled. And I ended up not having the extra kids so its going to be a lazy day.
How is everyone else?

I'm at work. Probably pack a few more boxes and through a way a bunch more stuff.
It's "band practice" night, so I'm hoping to finish the book I'm currently reading and move on to the next.

Morning.
If you all go to your freezer and stick your head in there you'll experience the deep freeze I'm in right now, it's -40C here with the windchill...its-40F this is the time that our values meet. Neat. I really really dislike this time of year, February sucks. Just 5 more days of this....
Nothing new here, working from home dealing with work shit still, lame.

The kids went to school today 🥳! They had a blast! My dad and Dh brought them to school on a sled and Dh and I picked them up (benefit of wfh, Dh can take breaks  ) with the sled. I had the best day. Snuggling with baby girl. I made spinach wraps for dinner tonight. Yum! |

hi!
Sorry to all those who are freezing and/or trapped inside. We don't have snow but rain has moved in and it's miserable. It looked like night out at 11 a.m. Started hailing on me as I waited for C's ballet class to finish. Only another week of this in the forecast, fun fun.
We're home now, dry, and I'm making turkey-bacon sandwiches for lunch.

Hi.
Another day of picking up and organizing. I have an itch to purge and pack up since we’ll be moving soon-ish.
I already got my workout in and M2 is outside playing. We hit 70 today, but this weekend it’s going to be pretty cold. I looked at the temps for the city where we will be moving and the low is in single digits this weekend. 😩😩 I better hit up the end of season sales for winter gear this year.

Someone apparently hit the "go" button and everyone started packing and cleaning and complete office chaos.
Suddenly EVERYONE has boxes of files they want closed. Sure guys, the week of the move, absolutely. Let me pack up all the communal areas, my office, the reception area, AND close out all the files that have been sitting dormant in your office for the past 6 months.

trtlcrzy I'm glad V was safe and you are OK. Stuff like that is always scary. If it makes you feel better, I wiped out leaving ballet the other day--completely missed the concrete tire-stop thing and went flying forward. Also did it on a plane this summer--I'm sure they thought I was drunk or something. (Nope, stone cold sober!)

She said it was a much better day! Although, she woke up this morning determined to have a good day, but then started crying as soon as I said it was time to go, and cried all the way through drop off. But she said the counselor pulled her aside to her office and they talked a bit and read a book and that really helped. She’s excited for her valentines party tomorrow so hopefully it’ll be a good day. |

SSDD here. Luckily C went to school today. We needed that break from each other. I have a hair appointment tomorrow. It’s my second one post Covid so it’s been a while. My friends are telling me I look best with a bob and I should go back to that. I’ve been painstakingly growing my hair out ever since I fried it summer 2019. I like the feel of my long hair but it really doesn’t look as healthy and I wear it up a lot so I think I’m going to take their advice and chop it off. I mostly can’t wait to get my color done since I have so many grays😩
That’s all my excitement for now.

Just got an email that someone in Bs class is positive. So he’s home for a while. And I’m now watching him like a hawk. It’s going to be a long few days with the 3 of us home till MH gets back!

C was yelling he needed a big band aid for his leg (which had a very small scratch). I yelled sure whatever buddy and he came out of the bathroom with a panty liner stuck to his knee!
DD has a competition like 5 miles from our shore house early Saturday so she and I are going to stay there Friday night. I’m so excited for a big night away (and also that I get to go inside for this one meet only and watch her).
