Y'all know I'm cheap as hell, but I finally paid more for jeans and I love them. Wit and Wisdom absolution line. They have elastic in the waist but still have a button & zipper. They are amazing.

Yay! Comfort is worth it! 20 years ago we would have scoffed at the thought of wearing Jeans with an elastic wait...now it’s what dreams are made of.

Went to grab Cadence's gs bag for her meeting tonight off the troop leader's porch. She has this huge billboard sign in her front yard selling cookies. It had all her info on it too; kid's name, their cell phone #. I don't want my neighbors having my cell unless they actually know me, I don't care what my kid is selling. Probably why this girl has sold twice as many cookies as Cadence though. Oh well, Cadence met her goal, so she's happy...now she just has to sell all the boxes in my trunk so that I don't have to pay for them!!

I’m going to meet a friend from STL to pick up his wife’s golden doodle that my husband is obedience training. We are meeting 1/2 way and I’m excited to be in the bigger city without Sierra so I can grocery shop at a good grocery store childless. Lol.
Also, our friends whose 4 year old son was in the hospital with Covid and bacterial meningitis got to go home yesterday! He still has a port he is receiving antibiotics through for a while....but he is doing really well.

Hey, guess who is working from home for the next 2 days again?!?! No wonder she is always worried she's going to get fired.

Hi - home again today. We have at least a foot of snow, probably more like 16", and it's still snowing. I just hope it stops soon so the boys can go to school in person tomorrow. S is already remote on Thursdays and Fridays and I need 5 minutes of alone time...
In other news, B had finally seemed to master potty training - he went 13 days with no accident, and I was finally feeling hopeful. Then yesterday he had 4 accidents. I have no idea what happened and am so deflated about it.

jewels Sorry about the snow and the no alone time. In regards to potty training, just keep doing what you're doing. Even H still has accidents occasionally. Tell him how great he's doing when he doesn't have any accidents and hopefully it will just click one day. I'm assuming you're still doing the miralax stuff?

jewels I’m sorry about the potty training. I thought I had a kid who finally got it right quickly and we have taken a bunch of steps backwards too.

M2 has been potty trained for a while now, and just the other night he ran to the bathroom to go poop and he had already pooped in his nighttime pull-up. He said... I was going and it just came out. Lol. I was just glad it happened when he had a pull-up on.

I'm assuming you're still doing the miralax stuff? yeah, probiotics every morning and miralax every evening. Plus pushing all fiber foods as much as I can. He's still only pooping on average every other day but it's usually a good Bristol scale number. We had been praising him SOOOO Much these past 2 weeks. Like every chance we get. It's just so weird that he went from 13 days fine to 4 in one day! Like one accident I wouldn't even care... but 4?!? So annoying.

Morning.
Work day here, but it’s a good day because Mh just scheduled his vaccine. So happy he was finally able to. Last week we heard our state was going to get another shipment this week so I was planning to check for appointments every morning, but before I could he said they got a notification and he he was able to schedule it.
On another note, a few kids in M2’s daycare have tested positive. They don’t have to shut down and quarantine is optional according to state rules. If I was off this week, I would have probably chose to keep him home, but it’s my last week of work and we are two people down. It was no one in his class or grade, so I’m crossing everything that he is safe this week and if I need to, I can keep him home next week.

lfig I love going to a new grocery store, just to see what all they carry, then get annoyed quickly because I can't find a damn thing and wander looking for something that should be simple! jewels was he maybe just tired yesterday or something off from the past 2 weeks? I'm sure he will get back to it quickly! SSDD here.

Morning. I ran to target to pick up valentines after I dropped S at school. After I pick her up I have to run to Carter’s to get my order, I accidentally had it shipped to the store instead of my house. I can’t remember if I told you guys but I signed the girls up for a v-day mini session so I’ve been working on outfits for that. I ordered a bunch of different things, I’m going to lay it all out and decide then return the rest. jewels I’m sorry for the setback. This probably won’t make you feel any better but maybe it’ll make you feel less alone, S had accidents for months after she was PT and still wears a pull up at night.

Morning! Waiting for C’s ballet class to finish, then we’re meeting my parents for lunch. C’s long-awaited bedroom furniture is due to be delivered Friday; feels like we are making progress. I want some of these projects checked off my list. jewels I remember one of my kids having a day like that here or there when they were newly PT’ed. I’m sure it was just a one-off. Hope today is better!

jewels that's great for the PT (minus the blip yesterday) what type of probiotics do you use? I use these Garden of Life. I used to use the culterelle packets, but I switched in the fall. I still keep those on hand if I run out or if we ever go away again

Hi ladies. lfig I've been thinking about your friend's son. That's wonderful news about him coming home. Hopefully he'll fully recover soon. jewels I totally understand the frustration, but that's great progress, hopefully he'll get back on track. SSDD here too. I'm frustrated with just about everyone in my family. MH is the usual with his shit communication (he loves to just take off and never tells me he's leaving, so I wanted to plan the day to see what's going on and like a jackass he basically ignored me so I'm being mature and blowing him off now). Cass had a blow up with M, slammed doors, and refuses to talk to anyone. M is pestering me because she's bored and refuses to go out an play. I'm also annoyed with myself because I have a lot of work to do and no motivation. I'm sick of it. Serenity now.

inthekitty ugh we’ve all had those days and they so hard 😕. Any chance you could go outdoors for a small hike/walk by yourself and catch a breather?

BTW, after the chat about the FB Messenger app for kids the other day I created an account for Madison (my 9 yo). I'll probably create one for Cass too. It prompted me to add kids and I clicked on a couple of your kids like a weirdo even though most haven't met M. Feel free to decline the invite. I don't know any of her classmates that are on it and and will eventually add some of them when I figure it out but I just wanted to test out how it works.
So ignore granny tech failure over here.

The weather has been shit off and on. I've been working a lot extra at my other job and it's wearing on me. I wish I could get caught up and take a real vacation. *sigh* Don't we all? Thanks for listening to me vent. Young Forrest: Mama, what's vacation mean? Ms. Gump: It's when you go away Forrest. And you don't ever, ever come back. I kind of want a vacation like that right now.

I heard about these a few years ago, but never purchased. Glad you like them! They are going back on my list to try, I guess. Nordstrom has some of them on sale. Just saying. I bought some of their skinny pants years ago and they have held up. They’re a cute blue plaid but have the zipper and button so they look dressier than leggings.

Add me to the frustrated club . Just too much togetherness.
And they just called school remote for tomorrow too. That was his last in person day. So S will be home all week. He needs social interaction.
