I’m sorry inthekitty and jewels. I hope you both get serenity! SSDD here. No outside time for me though due to slush and tons of wind. I told me neighbor we HAVE to walk tomorrow. No excuses! It should be sunny and I need it. I’m practically translucent I’m so pale! |

Sorry to everyone not feeling great about work/home/school. I find myself in a total slump these days and I don’t know how to go about getting out of it. I honestly can’t focus on it while my days are occupied with work. 🤷🏽♀️

I’m seeing it all around me. People are so tired of it all. It’s been almost a year now! For us at least the second wave has hit us harder, mostly because it has taken much longer and the lockdown has been much more severe. I think I will head to town tomorrow and see if I can find some flowers and drop those of at friends who need a pick me up. All retail (outside pharmacies and grocery stores) has been closed since mid December, but flower-stores are allowed to sell as long as its outside...

mamabear that's so exciting! I did Team Green both times but I think I'd totally end up cheating and looking if I had an envelope. Just don't pull a Jocelyn ala Schitt's Creek by giving it to a self-centered Moira Rose for safekeeping. (; (Sorry, I have a SC reference for just about everything.)

FYI, I went to the store since I wasn't accomplishing anything at work anyway. I needed to get Valentine's for Cass. Walmart had really cheap scratch art ones so I bought those for the girls just to have for fun and they loved them. Helped give them something to focus on for an afternoon.

We also just went and got Valentines. C did pick something up for his girlfriend. It’s a cheap plastic ring set that has gems. He’s so excited to give it to her so I have to stave him off until next Friday. We got little activity book ones with mechanical pencils for his class. We can’t send food so there weren’t a ton to choose from. We also got the neighbors cute key chains and will do a special card for them since they are distance learning full time. That’s exciting mamabear! I could never not look at the envelope but if I had another child (I am not) I would go team green. I think it would be fun. |

Exciting mamabear!! I don't know that I could resist the temptation! Green will be fun, and since you have one of each already you're kind of prepared either way. Are you doing much/anything new to the nursery or re-using from the older two? |

mamabear I can highly recommend a cosleeper, I did not have one with my first two, and it had been amazing! I mean it won’t help baby sleeping trough the night or anything, it is not a miracle worker, but it has been so much easier to put a hand on her belly, give back a paci, slide back after nursing without having to get out of bed.

I was thinking of one of those! We have this family bassinet we used for a few weeks with the other two but it's too high for our bed so I was thinking something adjustable would be nice, and then I can take my time on nursery decisions. Will take any recommendations! We have borrowed a bednest, it is very nice but expensive 😱. |
