My dad totaled a car this morning with his semi. Damn near pushed the car and its driver over the side of the bridge into the Ohio river.... car was responsible but not sited. He hit another truck and then bounced off him into my dad's lane. My dad is on his way to get a drug test to cover our ass because the guy responsible didn't have insurance or a license. And was taken away by ambulance.
So my day will be on the phone with our insurance company while taking care of a sick M who vomited at 2 am and is sequestered in my room because I have the 2 extra kids today...... is it bed time yet?

Is M's vomiting related to MJs yesterday? Are they circulating a stomach bug?

Is M's vomiting related to MJs yesterday? Are they circulating a stomach bug? I'm 100% sure hers was carsickness. She was fine after and never got sick again. M woke us at 1am with a stomach ache. A gave him some ibuprofen and put him back to bed. He woke us up at 2am and he had vomited in his bed. And he still doesn't feel well. Barely ate Breakfast. So I gave him some powerade and he's lounging in my bed away from everyone. Hopefully we can keep it to just him. |

Also, glad your dad is ok! Were the police called? I hope he got the other trucks info as well. Yes, there were 5 officers there, fire and ems. Both my dad and the other guy that was hit gave identical stories. But the bridge is technically owned by Kentucky and they're a no fault state. But it was cincinnati police. Waiting to hear from my agent now. My dads truck is an old classic and was in great shape.. he's so sad about his mint bumper being destroyed. |

Seriously. Yesterday was 2 years since he crushed his hand and he's going today to get blood work results because he's been feeling really awful. We don't need anything else wrong! |

I'm glad your dad is ok and that no one went off the bridge! +1 to making sure to have the other trucks info. I had an accident years ago that was caused by another car and 4 cars were involved. One of the cars that wasn't even near my part of the accident tried to sue me for medical damages years later. It was ridiculous! Everything was fine but it was a PITA.

SSDD here. Except I am going to get off my ass and walk today. I made an excuse about the cold yesterday but I really need to do it regardless of the cold. I'm hoping my neighbor will join so it goes by faster. It's cleaning day here so Marty is running around like a mad man while the woman works upstairs. I wish Eevee would do this since she could stand to lose a few!

Morning ladies. We had the photographer come to our house today. I was a nervous wreck somehow. I borrowed a huge cost cardigan from my sister, I think I looked okay. Groceries will be delivered in a bit, Dh took the kids out for some fresh air, I’m lounging with baby girl.

wedding, cleaning lady was here today too and S is home doing school in the dining room so we had to move him up to the playroom (where she doesn't usually clean). Quick folding table and he was fine. She's gone, but he's still working up there b/c it's hard to move all his crap in the middle of the school day. I just have my laptop so I came back downstairs.

Mostly sleeping, only wakes up for a few minutes here and there. But this morning he woke up and asked for a happy meal. Lol. He can’t have anything to eat or drink right now. But they were thrilled to hear him talk. They will be in the hospital for at least 3 weeks. |

Morning. After I dropped S off I supermarket swept target, I needed scotchgard for the new couch, and then ran home. V did her photoshoot, and was a perfect model of course, and then cried the entire drive to preschool because she refused to eat before and it was pushing nap time. She’s sleeping now and I’ll go in to get S shortly. My couch gets delivered this afternoon 🙌🏻. My living room is going to be very crowded until we get the old couch out. Then tonight I have to work. I’m glad everyone is ok peachsmama. That had to be terrifying for your dad. Is it really icy there? |

Smokey called in sick yesterday, then she called in still sick this morning, but said she was coming in. Says it's just a sinus infection, with some vomiting thrown in.....
So I get in and she's here and tries to give me happy meal toys to give to Cadence.
I told her nope, I heard she was sick and I'm not touching anything she touches. She again said it was just a sinus infection.
She hasn't been to the doctor, people, she is just self-diagnosing.
I said until she's been tested, nope.
"I've been tested twice!"
"Since your 'sinus infection'?"
"well....no."
Then, nope.
Her boss went in there and sent her home.
He's no better though. He insists it is just cedar fever (cedar allergies) and he has at least been to a doctor. Plus, he's leaving at noon for the rest of the week and stays out of my personal space.
Stop coming to work sick!
I also purposely took the last paper towel in the bathroom last week and didn't restock them. I wanted to see how long it took for someone to ask if we had more or for me to restock. No one ever did. Hours later I went in there and there were still none. NO ONE IS WASHING THEIR HANDS!!! And its not, oh maybe no one went in that time. They ALL went! I saw them pass my desk to go.
Its disgusting.

He cut off the other person involved and clipped his front end. That sent him sideways across the other 3 lanes straight into the wall. He got it straight and dad plowed his rear end. He watched it happen and tried to stop but the truck is 80,000 pounds and he was fully loaded. So who knows how much weight was on the trailer. The car is destroyed. I'm waiting on pictures from him to send to the adjuster. |

How are you feeling after your vaccine trtlcrzy? hopefully better today. I’m almost 100%, thanks for asking. Yesterday around 4 got nauseous and ended up throwing up. This morning I woke up with a headache but otherwise feel just fine. |

Hi!
I’m at work today. I was just starting to like this place better than my first job, but then they ruin it. They are allowed to do covid positive inpatient tests. There is one in the dept now. I’m vaccinated and all, but it still increases my exposure and chances of getting it with a positive patient in my department. And I’ll be here for next 4 weeks straight. Hope we don’t do many in that time. I conveniently took my lunch right after they arrived.
