Haha inthekitty. Where is everyone?!? Major parenting fail here... S lost a tooth yesterday and the tooth fairy did not come last night. Totally forgot. So some quick thinking this morning, I told him we forgot to leave the light on and she probably couldn’t find our house. MH and I both set reminders on our phones so hopefully we remember tonight! |

I’ve been working on homework for the past 2 hours. I’m trying to get slightly ahead so I don’t have to stay up until midnight writing a paper again. I’m just not a fan of this teacher or these classes.
C will be leaving soon so I’ll be back in parenting duty soon.

Just work for me. I'm trying to take it one thing at a time and get through the weekend. Everyone is just spent and wishes people would simmer down now as we prepare for more riot control missions.  Otherwise things are alright. The girls played the zombie game that MH and I play yesterday and it was funny watching them get their gamer skills on. We watched the first Jumangi last night and I was happy to see the second one was on sale for $7 on Prime so we got that and will watch it tonight. MH is hilarious with the rats. He adores them. He's your stereotypical guy who tries to put the kibosh on more pets, but then goes pouring love on them. Every evening the girls bring them down and give us the same one each to cuddle with. |

Chatted with my psychologist crew this morning about the possible effects and ultimate end state of a severe narcissistic injury. Definitely don't think things in the States will chill anytime soon. I wish I could be the fly on Pence's head though. I hope someone is secretly filming his breakdown and it gets leaked.

My kid is walking around with a cane(back scratcher) pretending to be an old woman. Complete with moaning and groaning to sit on the couch and get up. She does a pretty good old lady voice. 👵🏻👵🏻

Morning. Dd & ds are away with my parents for the weekend, they’re are having a blast! Dh and I spend the day cooconing with baby girl. We stayed in bed till 10, had a lazy breakfast and all three of us took a bath (not at the same time 😉). Baby girl has been so relaxed the entire day, so cute! I put her in a baby scale this morning, she’s up almost 4lbs since birth, my goodness. At least I’m not nursing every 2-3 hours for nothing 🤷🏼♀️.

Finished the last two assignments for this week, finished the homework due Tuesday and started two more assignments. I have a ton more school work for this upcoming week but I’m getting it done when I can.
Meal planning for the week done. Food ordered waiting for pickup. I’ve also been working on laundry.
Let’s see what I can get done this weekend.

Hello! MH is at work. I think we may do an outdoor playdate with my niece. I finally decided I need to get the vaccine and was scheduled and I guess my work got less than anticipated so it got cancelled... I got the first dose yesterday at my second job. (For those interested the only side effect so far is soreness at the injection site. Probably from the chip Bill Gates put in there working it's way to my brain.  I used to be really sensitive to the flu shot and get sick from it every time, but so far no issues.) My main job had issues this week with the supply which led to a bunch of 2nd dose appts being pushed back due to a late shipment. So far I think most sites have been operating by administering all they have with the intention that the second dosages will be coming in regular shipments vs. setting aside second doses and not administering 100% of stock. I'm scheduled to get the second dose next month and am hopeful things will be fine with the shipping logistics for that time frame, but it's something I'd ask about when getting it. In the massive thread on politics about all the fuckery going on I just read this morning that someone that does vax work said they've had some disrupted shipments and heightened concerns about safety of shipments coming through because they've already been on alert of nutbag anti-vaxers interfering with shipments and now the country's current state is increasing security concerns. They did tell me yesterday that so far they have only identified a period they won't administer the second dose early, but a too late time frame has not been identified yet (I got Moderna, brand may make a difference). At any rate, while some second dose appointments have been pushed back, it sounds like around here none have been so late it has impacted presumed effectiveness of the vaccine. |

Hiiiiiii! Following the news this week ate up any and all "spare" time I had, not that I had much to contribute. Getting back to work wasn't terrible but it was tiring.
Colin is actually at a birthday party. And by "party" I mean that he's watching a movie, masked, with a couple kids from his cohort. They are back in class together as of Monday anyway, and since we know the family from baseball and know how careful they've been, we decided to let him go. It's his first social outing in ages and he's so excited.
Chase is enjoying having us to himself. We got our 2020 family yearbook, the one I make through Shutterfly. This was definitely an odd one but hey, we'll always have it to remember such a weird year by.

joelies, I make calendars every year for us and for all the grandparents with pics from throughout the year. It was so hard this year since we didn't go anywhere. Usually the grandparent ones have tons of pics of that side of the fam with the kids - cousins, etc. But... we didn't see MH family at all this year and we saw my parents like twice before the shut down. So, we had none. All our pics are with our bubble family which is funny but grandma and grandpa don't care what S BFF was doing lol

Hey! I had a busy morning. I got the second dose of my vax and then went and purchased my sofa. Here’s a pic for those that care ( vino). It gets delivered Tuesday.  I am so glad to have that off my list of things to do. Now I need to find an ottoman to put our feet on. DH has plans to take down the Christmas lights today. Not sure it’s the best idea but 🤷🏻♀️. |

Oh, and my kids were really offended that I got vaxxed and they didn't. "So you're safe and we're not?" "You said we'd do this as a family." Of course I explained that it's not approved for kids yet but eventually we'll all be vaxxed. Yada, yada, yada.  |

Oh don’t get me wrong, for the most part I’m liking the distance thing, but I’d love to give my sisters and parents a hug! I get it. I have given my mom a hug every time I've seen her. But I've seen her about a quarter of the time I usually do, masked, with hand sanitizer nearby, outdoors...so yeah, it'll be nice to not have to worry. I haven't seen my stepdad this whole time with the exception of briefly at my brother's wedding in SEP. It's been about a year. |

Happy Saturday! I didn’t drink all week and then had too much wine last night and am a complete blob today. Sooo lazy. I think we’ll order Mexican for dinner and I don’t even think a margarita sounds good to go with it.
Dh wants to take the kids skating. I’ll probably stay home with L. He leaves tomorrow for a couple nights so I’ll let him do all the parenting today.

I went and got my nails done and ate lunch. Then to ulta because I had a gift card and wanted a new eye shadow pallette. They were out of like everything I wanted. But I finally found one. Also got some anti frizz stuff. I stopped at Walmart and got a new throw blanket and zip front sports bra for my recovery. I'm less than 2 weeks from my first surgery.
