thatgirlrachel We have several rugs from IKEA, and we really like the quality on them. They don't shed at all and are well made. We tend to buy the higher end ones though - the cheaper ones are pretty thin and I think would shed or not hold up as well. I will come back and add the ones we have - they have all held up so well. The only reason we are buying some new ones are that bugs destroyed the old ones in the guest room and nursery at our old place.

CoachTsWife bummer with my last pregnancy I failed the 1 hour both times but passed the 3 so FX you do the same. What did you eat before the test? I had a regular breakfast which is mostly protein. My morning snack is blueberries and granola with coconut milk. Lunch was a protein (chicken maybe, I can't remember, either that or a plain hamburger with no bun) and a couple veggies, like green beans or cauliflower and raw carrots. My dessert is grapes. I may have had ice cream the night before. I drank the drink at 1:40, my appt was at 2:30, blood draw at 2:40.

cythe Happy belated birthday! I hope your baby decides to show up at 39 weeks - no side eye from me at all on that. DS came at 38 weeks (IVF baby too), perfectly healthy, full-term! CoachTsWife Sorry about the GD test ☹️. Hopefully you pass the 3 hr - fingers crossed!

thatgirlrachel Here are the rugs we have. We love all of them - they have held up really well and don't shed. They are pretty soft too. I think they're a really good value! We have the Rens and Gaser for the nursery, and we will probably get a Gaser high pile area for DS' new room at our new place. Rens $29.99 Gaser high pile $49.99 Stockholm $299.99 Valby Ruta $69.99 Valby Ruta runner $29.99

CoachTsWife sorry about the one hour. Fingers crossed you pass the 3 hour. The rug in DD's room and the one in our room are from IKEA. Both have held up well.

CoachTsWife fingers-crossed for good three hour results. I was in the 160s and my practice wants less than 130. I passed all four 3hr draws with flying colors. I hope the same goes for you!

It doesn't matter much what you consume unless of course if you ate a ton of sugar and a giant plate of pasta, your body is going to resist insulin no matter what, which was why I did my 1 hr test knowing I would fail that and to my Drs point, it's better to know sooner than later so we can take steps to control my blood sugar if needed. Although your diet sounds so healthy!

Taitai, I have 2 rens! They're about 10 yrs and I swear I paid 2x if not 3x that! I currently used them on our dining table benches which promptly gets pulled off by DS on a daily basis. Still fluffy after multiple washes! Now I want more for that price!

blackmamba , isn't daycare contract weekly anyways? That's from my understanding for when we begin DS preschool, I would do the same and get all errands done so you can spend quality family time over the weekend! We can pick th enumber of days we do each week. I just sign him up for 5 days year round, the difference between 4 and 5 isn't that much and it's worth it to have the time in the summer.

What the heck!? I pulled those prices and pictures off the IKEA USA mobile site, so I gather that must be what they are selling them for in the USA. DH is picking up another Rens and Gaser runner today! We paid a lot more for the Gaser and all the other rugs too. Like double. 😢. I miss American prices!

Taitai , just saw this! It's a wonder my cousins were telling me that IKEA isn't affordable back home. Guessing import duties etc. also they tend to drop prices as time goes by hence the 2x price I paid 10 yrs ago - supply and demand I suppose. For that price now...I should get several and piece them together and make a huge sheep pelt rug 😂🤣
