Just got back from my neuro ophthalmologist appointment. He’s recommending the surgery to take it out. It’ll be through the nose, but still brain surgery. I have an appointment with the neuro tomorrow at 2 to discuss everything and schedule it. I was diagnosed almost a year and a half ago and it’s been a nightmare dealing with the side effects and symptoms, but so not excited about brain surgery during a pandemic 😫 I'm sorry. That is definitely scary. I'm sure you'll do great and feel much better in the end ❤️

cp3 I’m trying to be there but not pushy. From what I can tell, mom must be working with local friends she had to remove her from the home environment a bit. She is up until I’m about to wake and sleeping most of the day. ETA thank you for asking

Wow I’ve missed a lot. @clycky I’m so sorry about your niece. I hope she gets the help she needs and you can be a positive support to her, if she allows you in. LaRo422 ahhh good luck with the surgery! I am hopeful and excited for you. I think hospitals are trying really hard to contain Covid so I would try to not even factor that into my anxiety. Brain surgery alone is enough anxiety. I hope it works and you come out swimmingly! karabear I’m sorry for your sister and the baby. It sucks. I’m glad she got in to get help. PP preE is so scary. I’m behind as well and want to echo all of this!

My SIL is in the hospital with postpartum pre-e. As of last night, they had her BP under control with magnesium. I feel so bad for her. She was having a lot of BF issues, and now she’s away from her baby. I can’t even imagine how hard that must be. Make sure she meets with hospital LC about how to keep things going. They should provide a hospital pump, since it's for her while she's in the hospital. And help her with supply, storing milk, etc. When I was in the hospital with postpartum pre-e, I just took my baby with me and made him a permanent guest in my room and dared them to say anything. Of course, with covid, I wouldn't do that. But it made the point that baby and breastfeeding success were important to me, and they made sure everything that I got was breastfeeding friendly. Hugs to her, baby and family. Thank you! Yeah, unfortunately with covid, that’s not an option. I know she has a pump, and my ILs are running milk back and forth every couple of hours to the baby! I will tell her to ask to see a LC while she is there. That’s great advice! Thank you! She just got moved off the high risk floor on to the regular maternity floor! She’s off the magnesium tonight, and they are monitoring her on BP meds.

The Alt National Parks page has a very very long post about regulations that were stricken or rolled back over the last 4 years.
there are over 100 items. I knew there was a lot, but seeing it all listed out is really overwhelming and I'm really hoping that it can be changed back.
This is just the in progress of in the oil & drilling section 42. Proposed opening most of America’s coastal waters to offshore oil and gas drilling, but delayed the plan after a federal judge in 2019 ruled that reversing a ban on drilling in the Atlantic and Arctic Oceans was unlawful. Ahead of the 2020 election, Mr. Trump announced he would exempt from drilling coastal areas around Florida, a crucial battleground state, Georgia and South Carolina. 43. Proposed weakening a rule that increased royalty payments for oil and gas leases on public lands, bringing them in line with market value. The Obama-era policy updated a 1980s rule that critics said allowed companies to underpay the federal government. An earlier attempt by the Trump administration to reverse the Obama rule was struck down in court, but a separate court ruling exempted the coal industry from the updated pricing policy. 44. Proposed easing the approval process for oil and gas drilling in national forests by curbing the power of the Forest Service to review and approve leases, among other changes. 45. Withdrew proposed restrictions on mining in Bristol Bay, Alaska, despite concerns over environmental impacts on salmon habitat, including a prominent fishery. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has so far denied a permit for a proposed project, known as the Pebble Mine, noting it “could have substantial environmental impacts,” but left the door open for a revised plan. 46. Proposed revising regulations on offshore oil and gas exploration by floating vessels in the Arctic that were developed after a 2013 accident. The Interior Department previously said it was “considering full rescission or revision of this rule.” 47. Proposed opening more land for drilling in the Alaska National Petroleum Reserve, a vast swath of public land on the Arctic Ocean. The Obama administration had designated about half of the reserve as a conservation area. 48. Approved the Keystone XL pipeline rejected by President Barack Obama, but a federal judge blocked the project from going forward without an adequate environmental review process. The Supreme Court in July 2020 upheld that ruling, further delaying construction of the pipeline.

dc2london, when you have a free moment, I'm going to need to hear more about guinea pig life. We are considering it. Sorry I just saw this tag!! Happy to tell you anything you'd like to know. They are great pets. The younger one is still kind of an adorable spazz (he thinks he's a flying squirrel or a shoulder bird), but the older one is super snuggly and sweet.

But I was able to maintain my breastfeeding relationship so if that’s important to her, all is not lost. I’m glad she went to the hospital. I had no idea I was as sick as I was and it’s a silent killer. I’m glad she is getting the care she needs. Keeping your family in my thoughts. Oh man I remember this. We were really worried about you.

And these are just the environmental regs. So many regs in other areas were rolled back. So many pro-business/anti-consumer regs were enacted. And decades of subregulatory guidance tossed aside because the guidance wasn't sufficiently supportive of business. Some of this stuff can't be fixed now. MFers

I hate when trumpers use "cutting regulation" as a good thing that he did. Ok but do you know what these regulations are? Most likely they're going to benefit industry and make things more dangerous for everyone else. I don't get how that's a positive but they keep bringing it up.

They also cut or tried to cut regs that protect streams and wetlands, and endangered species. Corporate ag in the west likes this because they can do whatever the fuck they want like using all the water, polluting it with their runoff, and shooting birds that eat their crops (seriously).

Pretty sure this was in GD, but chick peas in the air fryer rolling basket turned out great. 20 min at 400 and no worries about stirring them every 5 min. bunnyfungo, pretty sure you have one of those baskets too.

Omg. Mh just ran upstairs in a tizzy because he found out he had yesterday off but worked all day. He’s never had MLK Day off at his current company. I even asked him last week and he said no. He wasn’t the only person who worked yesterday either. The dangers of working from home I guess 😂

Didn't we have a conversation about this recently? 😆 At my last job, we would joke about signing “You’re welcome, in advance” because people would send back a single, unnecessary “thank you” email. I missed the prior conversation and knew you all were wondering. 😂
